NewsLack of ReportingIt's completely our fault that we have not been reporting much lately. First it was the exhaustion from our return from the Kalmar Islands, and now the ensuing celebrations. More on that shortly from Thray. A summary: Some of us arrived in Chaos Temple early, myself included, and many were wounded. I was seriously injured for several days, but, thankfully, I recovered and I am now well. King Lucian, after accumulating enough funds, announced a tournament to celebrate the fall of Kavamar. A copy of the announcement follows here: Tournament announced We hope to see many nobles throughout the continent attend this promising tournament. Our King's official announcement to our realm regarding the reasons is below. On this occasion, the effective end of the scourging of the islands, Itorunt is holding a grand tournament of joust and sword to celebrate the victory of peace-loving realms and the final end of Avamarian influence in the East. Let the tourney also honour those that fell for this day, and our collective hope that such warfare as has been seen over these many years does not again tear our island asunder. With the bounty of the princely sum of a thousand gold for the victorious horseman and swordsman, and a respectable four hundred for the second, the suspense will be terrible. I hope it'll last. Sir Lucian King of Itorunt, Marshal of the Imperial Army Finally, Duke Robert also had a few words to see on the subject: Let this Grand Tournament in my city celebrate the final end of Avamar and all that was associated with it. It might have been a fine kingdom at one time, but it's name had become corrupted and tainted. To finally see those responsible for so much chaos and disruption, Good King Lucian has ordered this Grand Tournament to celebrate. Everyone, welcome to a time when there is peace across East Continent and a vile evil has been put down! Let us celebrate the end of Avamar! Indeed, now is a time of celebration. However, we must still pray for what peasants of Chaos Temple remain, the families of whom were ruthlessly drafted to serve the despicable cause of Avamar. May Zama watch over them and Elysia give them hope. Once again, I hope to see many of you there. Let us drink. To peace! --Ichigo |
