The young adventurer Torin was tasked with finding a sage to repair a mighty item. On his travels, he came upon a learned sage who was both willing to repair the item as well as forge a new item for him. Not wishing to waste the opportunity, the adventurer Torin took him up on both offers. The sage took from Torin a lump of wax and the cut hand of a thief and retreated to his cabin. Not an hour later, the sage returned with a forged white ring.
