Dear nobles of Sirion,

Tomorrow will be my last day as the general of Sirion. In my honest opinion, I was probably one of the worst generals in the long history of our great republic.

From 5 months ago to today, there were two events which I very clearly remember. The first siege of Oroya and the battle of Kazakh were the two events. The siege of Oroya was the first battle which taught me the difference between a marshal and a general. As all of you remember, our armies were in three different regions at the time. I should have either gathered all of them in the same region or calculated the travel time between all those regions and Oroya but I was in a hurry to prove myself as capable as my predecessors. The result of my action led to a disastrous outcome. Only a half of the TLs managed to reach the city and by the end of the siege, hundreds of Sirionites lay dead on the ground in front of the walls of Oroya.

After the defeat, I lost courage to even go near Oroya. I had to change the plan and decided to attack Kazakh instead of Oroya. Thankfully, when we reached Kazan to strike the heart of Sultanate, most of the Sultanese TLs were still near Oroya region and only the duke of the capital and a few nobles were in the city. The duke managed to recruit some militia to defend the city but it was not enough to stop the combined forces of Sirion and OI.

My second failure came during our assaults of Kazakh. I was not thinking too much about the stragglers. I as the general should have organized people who were lagging behind to protect them from any attack attempt of Sultanese TLs. But the victory got into my head and I overlooked the fact that the Sultanate still had their mobile army to pick our long line of reinforcements and stragglers. This mistake cost us one of our most respected nobles and the former Prime Minister, Royal Bastian Moore.

The two events I have mentioned before were my biggest mistakes out of many I have made during my time as the general. Also not being flexible with our marshals and some nobles which caused the tension between our ranks. I hope the next general will not repeat my mistakes and always think one more time before sending out the final order.

It was a privilege to serve Sirion as her general. Thank you all for your supports during all my time as the general.
