July 26th - Minas Ithil has declared war on Tara. July 24th - Falasan has reclaimed control of Picnu and Ash Sea Islands has reclaimed control of Jauchu. Both were regions Tara took from our allies. July 21st - Minas Ithil and Norland have signed a cease fire agreement in keeping with the peace treaty all parties have now signed. Caergoth has taken control of Wor'ight July 20th - Barony of Makar and Eston have ended their hostilities with Minas Ithil and agreed to a cease fire. July 19th - Minas Ithil unsuccessfully sieges the fort at Mansbridge. July 18th - Cagilan Empire and Talerium breach the walls of Barad Falas, occupying Falasan's largest city. July 17th - Tara successfully defends Picnu against Falasan. Nazia has rebelled from Eston rule. July 12th - Norland has retaken Melmoor, a lawless region since Minas Ithil was overrun by Norland in Mansbridge. July 11th - Ash'rily is under attack by the armies of Caergoth, Carelia, and Suville. July 10th - Falasan and Tara battle in Picnu. July 7th - Wor'ight has fallen into anarchy and Tara has taken control of the Jauchu as Ash Sea Islands continues to be beaten badly by the combined armies attacking her. July 6th - Talerium has announced a tournament to be held in the coastal city of Metemec. July 1st - 15 days left in truce between Northern Federation and Minas Ithil.

Treaty Signed

July 21st

The York Journal has obtained a copy of the text of the peace treaty signed today by all parties. Peace Treaty between the Norther Federation (Norland, Eston, Barony of Makar) and Minas Ithil. 1. Relations between Minas Ithil and members of the Northern Federation will be raised to neutral immediately, and to peace within 3 days. Relations should not be dropped under this level for 3 months. 2. Barad Riel and Amriel are to be returned by Eston to Norland over the next 30 days. All other borders remain the same. 3. Soldiers of the Northern Federation should not enter the lands of Minas Ithil as long as relations are peaceful (at "peace"), but at least for 3 months. An exception to this may be made if the ruler of Minas Ithil gives permission to any of the realms to enter his lands. 4. Soldiers of Minas Ithil should not enter the lands of Eston, Barony of Makar or Norland as long as relations are peaceful (at "peace"), but at least for 3 months. An exception to this may be made if the ruler of Eston, Barony of Makar or Norland gives permission to Minas Ithil to enter his lands. 5. King Peny of Norland formally apologizes for the aggression against Minas Ithil, and notes that the attack was not directed at the realm or her nobles, but at the previous king of Minas Ithil. Breaking News

July 20th

King Raoul De La Fere has announced that a peace agreement has been agreed to by the Northern Federation. The agreement is being signed by all parties currently and the signed treaty will be released to the public within the next few days.

Tournament in Metemec

July 13th

The ceasefire allowed some nobles from Minas Ithil to attend the tourney in Metemec, one of Talerium's coastal cities. The swordfighting competition proved to have many skilled contestants. Sir Chon Stormreaver of Minas Ithil who made it to the third round progressed the furthest for our realm. The tournament was won by Lady Helisara Warrah from Ash Sea Islands. Helisara Warrah proved her masterful skill, defeating Lord DrSeptre Meadowcrest of the Barony in round four and then defeating three Darkans, including Lavigna Galadeon, Law Mother of Darka, Countess of Tolhuar, to win the tournament. Some spectators who watched lady Helisara Warrah train before the event said that her technique is flawless, a true master of the sword. Dark times for the Eastern Realms

July 11th

Ash Sea Islands and Falasan have come under blistering attacks in recent days. Tara has relocated her capital to the front lines in the Fortress of Aja in recent times. As such, Falasan must defend itself on multiple fronts. However, despite this, Falasan has been able to hold its own for the most part. It remains to be seen whether Falasan can keep this up, continuous battles on its soil is going to take a toil on the people. Tara has profited the most, gaining large amounts of land at the expense of our allies. Meanwhile, Carelia is fighting beside the children of Abington in the eastern islands. Not that surprising considering Carelia along with the lost realm of Redspan were close allies with Abington. Caergoth has gained a foothold on the southern island and Wor'ight is in anarchy. Ash Sea Islands is making its stand in the remaining city of Ash'rily. Here in the north an tenuous peace remains in effect. A Barony infiltrator was captured red handed in Minas Ithil lands. The Barony has denied knowledge of his actions and asked for the captured infiltrator to be hung or deported. It is unknown if the Northern Federation will pursue the war. The borders of our realms stands the same as it did before the war began and much of what Norland desired in starting the war has been accomplished, namely the replacement of our King and the destruction of Athonlaurism.

Tournament conclusion

July 6th

158 troop leaders from all across Atamara came to celebrate King Dead Angel the Third's farewell tournament. Ale flowed freely with many buying rounds of drinks for everyone at the tournament. Given the amount consumed, it is surprising some were able to compete at all. Many nobles from Minas Ithil took part but unfortunately none was able to win the contest. Minas Ithil thanks all who came to take part in the tournament. The winners each received a prize of 700 gold and for second place 150 gold. Jaime from Talerium and Tomin from Suville took 1st and 2nd in the swordfighting competition. Dashem and Kido from Falasan took 1st and 2nd in the Jousting competition. Start of a new Era

July 1st

Yesterday Sir Raoul De La Fere was selected as King by a margin of one vote. It was an extremely close election. In an elaborate ceremony he was crowned by King Dead Angel the Third. Parades and celebrations fill the city of Shanandoah.
