Whispering Tome of Haste

After days of battling the monsters hoarding in K'dira. Roxanne, the daughter of the De La Coeur bloodline, at last met in battle with the Archon of K'dira. The creature stood before her perplexed and angered at the death of his kin and raised his bloodied paw to strike the woman from her feet and then make feast of her. With the will of the ancients guiding her hands, Roxanne struck him down with blow after punishing blow.

As she stood wiping the creatures foul blood and ichor from her blade, she noticed a book amongst the bones and retrieved the long forgotten Whispering Tome of Haste. It's pages were crisp and ancient creating a soft sussurus as she opened the tome for what must have been the first time in many hundreds of years. The wisdom and beauty filled her with a sense of contentment. Her work here was done.
