Saephyna was a Warrior Woman of old, fabled for her use of a spear in each hand, and carrying no shield.

It is said that she crawled from the head of the Sleeping Father himself, birthed fully formed without awakening him. She is known to have fought in many campaigns, especially in the South of Atamara, in and around the Ash Sea Islands.

She is a proponent of peace and prosperity through warfare, and puts forth child-bearing as the most noble of duties. Her legends say that she gives birth to 100 soldiers every night, and 200 archers on every full moon. (It is often said of well-fought common soldiers that "his mother birthed him hard", meaning they are born of Saephyna.)

She is represented as having eight breasts, in rows like animal teats. She is very beautiful and tall, and wears much armor and a tall helm. It is said that under her helm, her hair is indeed eagle feathers.

A Miracle of Saephyna

"Know ye, oh common folk, of the Miracle of Saint Saephyna! Saephyna the Many-Teated! Saephyna the Mother of Warriors! Know ye of her blessed womb that gives soldiers unto the world!

Verily, Saephyna is the Saint of all Mothers, and the Matron of Warrior Women! Know ye of her mighty brood of Valkyrs who fought at her side on days of yore... The Saephyn Guard, all mighty women who wore armor hammered for their ample bosom!

Saint Saephyna led them one day against a foul serpent who lived at the bottom of the Silver Lake. The Great Serpent who had spawned a blasphemous religion in his name! This leviathan was a blight unto the world, and the Saephyn Guard were the only knights who dared confront it!

Saephyna, who in those days was but a brave knight, and not yet divine, led them to the bottom of the lake, where their armor made it so that they could hardly move, and only through strength of faith alone could they yet breathe! But they slew the mighty serpent, at a great cost... He ate the Saephyn Guard, one by one, until only Saephyna herself was left!

But she would not be dismayed, and finding the Strength of the Great Father in the Earth and Stones, she transmogrified that day, growing rows of teats like a noble beast, a set of bosoms for every one of her Warrior Women lost that day! She birthed a whole new army on the lake floor, and with a power divine and righteous, slew the Great Serpent in a fury of blood and sea-foam!

Notable Scripture

"If a man should have faith, call it good and have done. If an old man should have faith, call it fear and have done. But if a child have faith, be wary, for the Saints are at work." (The Amplest Bosom, Saying 5)
