Olivier, Joseph's younger brother, was enrolled at a very young age in Tara's army where he valiantly and proudly fought in the war against the Falasan rabbits. Brave but often self-righteous and scornful of weakness, he is certainly the most conservative member of the family. He eventually showed enough prowess on the battlefield to be accepted in Die Armee der Kühe. From that point on, he decided that it was beneath him to do the menial tasks that were required of mere soldiers. He would be a Hero of Tara, and cover himself with glory.

Eventually, it is with some sadness that he left his home of Jagla to tend to an estate in the newly acquired city of Tucha which required knights to grow. This allowed him finally to get a strong unit without having to beg for finances every other week. But the war was already drawing down, Falasan having been defeated, and an era of peace dawned on Atamara. Olivier found solace for a little while in tournaments, but these had nothing to do with the battlefield glory he was now used to. His home being safe in the heart of an empire, he left the running of the family estate to his mother and boarded a ship to Beluaterra, where his cousin Gustave had sent news of a mysterious daimon army.

Upon setting foot on the continent, he joined the realm of Riombara where he became a knight of Ardmore. There he finally found himself in a leadership role as Marshall of the Army of Riombara, and later High Constable of the realm, fighting both rebels and the Enweil empire at the same time. Daimons were also present, but quiet. He relishes the opportunity to prove himself on the battlefield.

Death

When the fourth Invasion started, the empire he had helped built in Riombara quickly collapsed, although a core remained. Disgusted by the lack of fighting will and the treason of Mordred Lefanis who sided with the enemy, he grew more distant and detached. He tried to do things himself when he saw that he had failed in getting his army to fight anymore, even provoking Epic in a duel, which was rejected. Eventually, he found his final demise fighting a band of rogue monsters in Glongin, where not even a second-rank leader was to be found, almost alone of his realm.
