Pierre's cadet brother, Gustave was sent to a neighboring estate to train his skills as a swordman in the army. Unfortunately, he could not resist the knight's daughter. When they were discovered together, Gustave was sent back to his family. Stricken by shame, his parents exiled him on the wild island of Beluaterra with strict orders not to return until he could prove them he could act like the noble that his blood make him. In the meantime, they will not recognize him.

He is at this point busy hunting monsters and undeads in Enweil. He has accumulated a sizable loot from his hunt, including the Legendary Breastplate of Strength and the Adorned Coat of Fengen.

He was captured by Meshian troops at some point, and joined their realm to get out of prison. He repaired the Feather of Warding for Duke Ronald of Poitra.

Equipped with three recommendations, Gustave asked his cousin Olivier, head of the family, for the von Genf seal. It was deemed he had paid enough for his crimes, and his request was accepted. He gave most of his possessions to his friend Shukkur d'Serrai before heading North, where he intended to seek an estate in Gethsemane with Duke Stormcrow, as he had heard much good of the Stormcrow family from his brother.

Once arrived, he realized it would be better to wait a week or two before declaring himself, so that all papers would be in order. He decided to use the time to visit the Netherworld area. Unfortunately, he was ambushed by undeads there, and was killed in Fianik on Oct. 17th, 2009.

It is rumored he was then wearing the Adorned Coat of Fengen, and yet it was not found on his body.
