Xaphan is better known as the balding , eccentric squirrel duke of Toren stronghold and religious fanatic. Xaphan Brought about a new breed of squirrels to SWI (South-West Island) Which quickly lead to the creation of Utopian Government and nation in Bieth After Amadeus' disappearance . But thankfully with the help of Diodorus and a long battle , the squirrels where subdued and Diodorus was placed as the Dictator of Bieth . Xaphan was deported to the south-west by Ceolwyn after he lead a hastily organized rebellion in Principality of Zonasa , Ever since he has been in Ikalak he has become Duke , Paladin Primus and hero. Xaphan used to work closely Diodorus before he emigrated to Atamara to hone his infiltrating skills.
Xaphan enjoys being cruel and brutal due to his worship of Nergal , Lahri and Nehru . He is a squirrel and because of that he has brought squirrels into the military caste of Ikalak . He always leads a unit of squirrels and has turn Toren Stronghold into a recruitment centre for promising squirrels.
Xaphan is also famous for his invention of the use of flaming squirrels as flaming projectiles for catapults , trebuchets and bows . Diodorus helped with such military innovations by suggesting the use of flame retardant squirrels as a alternative , a alternative which was embraced for its military genius. Also he invented the use of squirrel sin replacement of horses for cavalry . Squirrels have effectively become something of a mascot / national animal of Ikalak. Due to the works of Xaphan, there is the fearful belief that somewhere, somehow, a duck is watching us all, and that we should never talk about the duck, cause that makes the duck angry. Sandalakatakians are believed to be the spawn of Raccoons, Racoons the arch enemy of Squirreldom and therefore an enemy to Ikalak on a whole different level.

 'Xaphan In Norland
After Xaphan "survived" the great Katastrophe of the South West, he sook refuge in Norland, the long time home of his borther AStaroth. In Norland, after he became aquainted to the rather .. civil nature of the Viking's he brought his inanities and just plain sillyness to a head. "Farnese ... Begin the evil rolecall" Xaphan said, grinning broadly at the fruits of his labours. He had raised a crack team of evil super villains, generally people he found on the streets of Moramoth BUT he had given them alises, yes aliases! And soon he would begin to hype them up, making them seem more powerful than they are. And the Yeti settlement of Moramoth was famed for its hardy locals. "Today my friends, we have the ultimate team of villains and accomplices, who all make up the Grand Horde Of Nergal's Squirrel Leaders, freshly picked from the trees of Moramoth. Now, our villains in their wordly ascending order ... we have a walking breathing pin up girl! a killer panda, one superstar lookalike vampire, a laser dodging herokilling mass smoking vampire, a pacifist who powers up the more limbs he loses, the king of crazy stunts and screaming in battle, a mass murderer highschooler who likes to sneak around, a spineless coward who's yet to grow a spine, a muscle rider comboand once Izumi is back (the panda is gonna make it happen, baby) they'll have the last, most awesomely badass swordsman as well. compared to that, Smeagenpotato, Mad Dog, Peny's Mom, Regulus... Cake or Death?
Xaphan started making outrageous claims to Cake or Death in the name of Religion. Sometime late last year Xaphan started demanding that people eat cake or die , all in the name of Nergal . Sadly enough at that time Ikalak only had Victoria Sponge in stock in terms of cake resulting in much reluctance in people choosing cake.
Religion
Xaphan is a devout follower of The Church Of Nergal . He is often seen as a fanatic especially with the whole Cake or Death thing he has. He has regularly challenged members of Sandalak to duels to the death because they attempted to insult Nergal, Nehru and Lahri's divine greatness. Church Of Nergal
The Will of Nergal :
Be a good disciple and make Nergal happy
- 1) Pray Nergal at least once per day
- 2) Gets into battle as often as possible (it's the prayer that Nergal prefers)
- 3) Offer Nergal a sacrifice once a week
- 4) Bathing and washing is forbidden, it slows the propagation of infections
- 5) In battles, don't finish off the wounded, bite them and let them rot there or getting back to their home, contaminating their fellows.
Appearance
Xaphan is a red squirrel (and self proclaimed most beautiful squirrel and duke on the island ) , He has a big bushy tail however for sometime he lost all of his hair and because of that he started having a midlife crisis . Luckily for him Celina , before her departure , started helping him to regain his hair which has luckily helped .

The appointment of Diodorus as "Anointed Dictator" ... (Zealous titles given by chief of titles) ... Looks like I won't get round to adding the story to here for quite some time.
Rebellion in Principality of Zonasa
The South-West Island, only available to those who are willing to make a sacrifice to ascend into its midst, Xaphan however wasn't willing to make that sacrifice but luckily for him he started a rebellion in PoZ due to discontent over leadership issues, but the rebellion failed and he was deported to this legendary war Island.

The new Fiduciary is Xaphan, with 43 % of the valid votes.
It is because of this that Vincent conveniently decided to challenge Xaphan to a duel to the death . Noticeably about this is how he challenges after Xaphan beats him in the election , Surely this is a sign of his lack of confidence. Surely he did not want to risk dying at Xaphans hand when theres a slight chance he could become fiduciary . Had he become fiduciary I'm sure he wouldn't of challenge Xaphan due to fear of dying.
The duel to the death with Vincent :
Duel (just in) Xaphan, Fiduciary of Ikalak, Duke of Toren Stronghold, Marshal of the Grand Horde of Nergal's Squirrel Leaders meets his challenger Vincent, Count of Kail for the agreed duel till death. Vincent has decided to use the 'overrun' strategy while xaphan has choosen the 'defensive' strategy, giving Xaphan the advantage. The duel runs its course, until xaphan delivers a fatal blow. The healers carry Vincent away, seriously wounded but still breathing.
It is a shame that Vincent did not die but then again Xaphan always said he would spare Vincent's life if he could.
Soon after Vincent fled in exile : Noble has left (1 day, 2 hours ago) Vincent, Count of Kail was seen in Bieth, boarding a ship to East Continent. His unit, the Vincents Vampyres has been partly converted into a militia unit. Kail is now without a lord.

Paladin Primus
Xaphan has been elected a Paladin Primus . He is know a Duke , Marshal , Fiduciary and Paladin Primus. Xaphan has now been repeatedly elected as Paladin Primus and fiduciary, more than I have recorded.
