The Fronen Commentator

What a pity, the Fronen Commentator is not an alliteration, unlike most newspapers... How about the Fronen Foley? The Fronen Fold(er)? The Fronen Fascicule? Van Peteghem 20:57, 3 December 2006 (CET)

(answer)

Well, there are two ways to define original: original in being different from the others by not having an alliteration, or original in having done the effort to come up with a nice second part of the newspaper to fit to the realm name to form an alliteration. Guess which one I'd prefer =).Van Peteghem 21:04, 3 December 2006 (CET)

On the contrary, I think the two papers are very original (probably just because it was my idea but meh whatever). We're the first realm to split our newspaper into two; one for fact and one for opinion. The Face of Fronen is an alliteration and sounds good. I think Fronen Commentator also sounds good and it describes the paper. It is mainly for comments on the LdBC (and other papers but so far only LdBC).

Anyway Free South Times, Luz de Bia Chronicles, and Avalon Times none of the Beluaterra papers have alliterations anyway. Nobody realy cares. --Alex 23:11, 3 December 2006 (CET)

Reasons for rebelling, etc

While I agree the pages like Reasons for Rebelling, and "Dispose that Imbecile" are in bad taste, poorly done, and generally useless, please keep in mind: they're OOC. Nobody get's banned OOC for making wiki pages. Vellos 03:59, 8 December 2006 (CET)

Actually i think the ideas are quite interesting and my only riff against them is that they are bad articles and confuse people more than help...i may make one myself after i get some experience in those matters :)

No actually its not BS and it is perfectly in the spirit of the game. I'm sure Tom would agree. Its called roleplaying or just being plain greedy which is fine by me because it starts wars and makes the game more interesting. But I agree the actual articles on Gems of Wisdom are pretty crappy.--Rojo 05:46, 9 December 2006 (CET)

Who cares about the host realm or the people who worked hard to make it. Lifes tough, if you lose your rulership position to a rebellion fight and take it back. Chances are a rebellion started for bad reasons anyways is gonna fail later on even if it does take power. besides It adds interest to the game.--Rojo 04:13, 10 December 2006 (CET)

True but thats too bad. People are allowed to be greedy or just plain stupid and if overthrowing a realm is how they accomplish their goals then so be it. And Tom would side with my point of view. He sided with One's actions in the recent CE disturbance and he created a realm named after a brand of butter. It makes the game more interesting and as soon as I get some experience I'm going to make a better page just like the other ones.--Rojo 06:43, 10 December 2006 (CET)

Actually I think it would be quite the contrary. There would be constant battles and constant fighting which would be wicked. Nothing is more boring than peace. And anyways even if it is encouraged it is still hard to gain support for a rebellion and actually overthrow the realm.--Rojo 21:04, 10 December 2006 (CET)

Well if you ever decide to found such a thing on Atamara please notify me as I would be more than willing to help in anyway I can. --Rojo 05:35, 15 January 2007 (CET)

Image thigny

I edited it using Gimp, and I do believe they are done by hand seeing as how that ASI map is well, five months out of date... Loren 04:17, 8 December 2006 (CET)

For this one it was simple, I simply filled in the islands using Gimp. The versions I've been uploading show as the properly updated ones when you click on them, however the image that is displayed does not. Quite vexing. I would hazard a guess that someone somewhere has a version where the lines are still there. It's fairly simple in a powerful editor to get that shadow outline. Loren 04:30, 8 December 2006 (CET)

Religion

I am no fame hungry whore! This is going to be fun, however. I really like his idea, how about you? --Bannable 00:10, 12 February 2007 (CET)

Just so you know, I also am founding a religion. :D We'll have three branches of Terosism. Great Serpent Terosism, Ka Terosism, and Teros Terosism. :D Vellos 01:30, 12 February 2007 (CET)
