Orphaned Pages

I notice that you've put up a large number of posts on the discussion pages about orphaned pages. Which is useful, except that it's difficult to go immediately to the page you're referring to, because they haven't been linked. If you're unfamiliar with wiki syntax, linking proceeds as follows: surround the title of the article page with square brackets: [[ ]] as such:

If the article is a subpage of another, then include that as well:

You can also have the link direct to a specific page, while revealing a different text to click on other than the page name:

Hope this helps :)

Heh, alright ;) but I'd suggest you include a link to the Orphaned Pages link to get them started, because I don't think the basic editor of a wiki page knows about them. I certainly didn't when I first began the Falasan Inquirer, only found out after several months of extensive exploration of the wiki ;) --RubyDragon 06:50, 9 November 2007 (CET)

Regarding Steve2609's and any other userpages, I'd prefer that we try to subpage them or link them from something besides the user pages. If you aren't sure what to do, just leave them there and I'll get to them when that phase comes around. It's easier to find a page that needs subpaged if its orphaned than if it gains a link. When leaving a note for people to do it themselves, watch either the page or their talk page and if nothing is done after at least a month, solve the issue yourself. Regarding regions, all region pages should be Continent/Region. Some continents have a template for region pages and the regions should be linked from that. Any realms that have something similar should link to it too. But the actual page name should be Continent/Region. --Vita Family 10:11, 27 December 2008 (CET)

Biased

Holy crap, another Johnston! Wasn't expecting that! -21:00, 31 December 2007 (CET)

Indeed I am! I used to play UD, I led the Urban Guerillas, we were 15 men strong for about a year... Don't have any time left for it now, though. Happy new year to you too, and a toast to all Johnstons! :P -20:11, 1 January 2008 (CET)
Oh, it really does. I personally don't know too much about the history, great great grandfather emigrated here, a farmer in ontario. Don't really know why or much other than that, unfortunatly. I might even have gotten that wrong... I sure hope not. -06:07, 2 January 2008 (CET)
I read that, and much of the overall and ancient history, but what really interests me is what the family (especially my branch of it) did from the 1800s and after, and why. -19:35, 2 January 2008 (CET)
Aw, that's pretty damn far... I live in Québec, and work a lot, wouldn't be able to afford such a road trip. -Chénier 07:56, 8 August 2008 (CEST)

Thanks

Thanks for helping out with the Wiki Clean-up Project; I added you as a contributor. It really helps to not be doing this alone. I'm still working on Drachenwald's pages right now, so don't bother with it now. Oh, and please don't use underscores in links, the wiki adds those to the url's automatically. --Vita Family 02:09, 27 December 2008 (CET)

Thanks2

Thanks for the clean up. I need a couple of those deleted. One was for something, the second wolf page was from something that went wrong. The one with writing... I need to redo that completely when I have time. That hasn't been updated in so long, and my writing has come a long way since then. I've got to update my character data too...--Steve2609 07:02, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
