Halewood Protectorate

The Merchantile Halewood Protectorate is the wealthiest of all the realms in the Finngar Region. Trading with not only those members of the Sunriel Empire. But also Mesne Roc, and rumoured dealings with the Mubaba Tsumo and Tsing Empire.

Peace... they are very good customers. And we would like to keep that way.

Peace... on those occassions that they have allowed entry. They have been known to be a good trading oppertunity.

Mubaba Tsumo

Neutral... there raiding parties never reach the Halewood Protectorate. And merchants have been known to cross the Rigin Mountains to trade with them.

Church of Daeism

Daeism has a strong presence in the region.

Church of Jinnho

Jinnho has been quite aggresive with there expansion. Though people tend more towards Daeism over Jinnho.

Church of Urumieda

Rather unknown in the region.

Beovoel Trading Company

The Beovoel family holds the most influence in the Halewood Protectorate. And as such have a monopoly over the others.

Ordo Draconus

The Ordo Draconus, have become a mercenary unit. At present they are in the service of the Beovoel Trading Company.

Regions

Becoming a Region Lord

The Halewood Protectorate has a very unique way of chosing who becomes the regional lords. Unlike the other members of the Sunriel Empire who are either an heriditary title. With regions being handed down through the same family, and if the family dies out. Then the Duke would appoint a new family to oversee the land.

But not the Halewood Protectorate. Instead all regions are handed out, throught the option of buying a region. This way it is the families that can afford to pay off the needed officials who become the land holders.

And as most prominent families have gained there wealth through trading. It has become a bloody affair, with gold changing hands for assassination attempts on land holders. So that regions can become available.
