Templates

Most region and realm pages have an "infobox" that provides general statistics about it: Who a region belongs to, what regions a realm has, what the population is, etc. Since Tom implemented semantic data and the external data feed, there have been a few templates made that allow you to pull information straight from the BattleMaster data itself and display it on the wiki. This means that the data shown is never out of date. First, here's a link to some of the more commonly used templates that use these features:

Realm Pages

• Template:RealmBox - To put a realm infobox on your realm page. Uses external data and semantic tagging.

Region Pages

• Template:Infobox RegionData - Tom's "reference" implementation of a region infobox using the extrenal data feed and semantic tagging.
• Template:RegionBox - An implementation of a regional infobox that uses the external data feed and semantic tagging. Also allows for some customization of the colors to match your realm's color theme.

Unique Item Pages

• Template:Infobox Unique Item - Another of Tom's templates that uses semantic tagging of data.

Character Pages

• Template:Infobox CharData - Uses the external data feed to display your character's current honor, prestige, allegiance, etc. Optionally displays an image such as a portrait, family crest, etc.

Family Pages

• Template:Infobox Family - To put a simple box on your family page listing the family fame and wealth. I'm hoping to expand this to automatically list the family member names by parsing the semantic data.

Player Pages

• Template:Userdata - A simple way to put a link to your in-game family's wiki page and your BattleMaster player page on your wiki userpage.

Utility Templates

• Category:Utility Templates - Handy templates to make editing the wiki easier. There are templates for linking to user pages, posting IG messages on the wiki, quoting people, changing the size of text, marking a page as containing OOC info, etc.

Other Templates

There are a LOT more templates that have been created by various wiki users.

• All Pages in the Template namespace - This is a list of all templates on the wiki. You might be able to find something here that will at least give you ideas on how to do something.
