The Ucdauh's Book of the Damned has it's roots on the Far-East in Principality of Zonasa. The adventurer Delivo first acquired it from a sage and sold it to Queen Lucretia for a reasonable price and a recomendation. After Queen Lucretia had gotten the book she decided it to give it to Pontifex Ascanius to let him figure out how the book worked and to give it as a sign of friendship between the two rulers.

No single person knows yet how the book works. Every time one opens up the book it is empty, yet as soon as it's touched it shows stories, maps and what more. The Ucdauh's Book of the Damned is a heavy book full of mystery. It is opened by the wind and it seems the book has it's own will.

The first time the Book of the Damned ever showed it's use it was during an attack of monsters in Lasanar. During the same time Ascanius was reading the book when a map of the Far-East reveled itself. Suddenly closing in on the region of Lasanar were Ascanius actually saw the monsters rampaging trough the region and soldiers standing on the other side. A verse appeared in the book on the other page as well. When Ascanius was finished reading he could not see the monsters anymore. Later on he heard tales of soldiers of Lasanar who were in the fight against those monsters that they saw a bright light and after the light was gone so were the monsters.

The second time any real action came out of the book was when it was back in the hands of Delivo apperantly. Ascanius himself heared Delivio's voice (a commoner who was repairing the book) in his head on his travel to Saex. He heard him saying the following verse:

When time passes by,
Throughout the world,
They shall stop,
For he commands it,
Time shall go on,
But the world shall stop,
For so say I

Then when Ascanius looked around all but himself were frozen, not moving not even breathing. As in the verse, the world would stop but time would go on. Yet why was he the only one that wasn't frozen? His enemies, allies and countrymen were. This was one of the strangest thing he has ever saw.

The book whispers dark secrets at all times, giving its bearer foresight, but at what price?
