Fey

Fey Twix is a quiet, compassionate, and fierce person. She is shortish with a light build and a confident stride. Her most defining physical feature is a long braid of dark brown hair, and she usually wears a pale green bandanna when travelling or fighting. Her weapon of choice is the longbow or lance, though she'll use a dirk if an enemy gets too close.

Youngest female in the family, Fey began her military career in her family's homeland of Lukon, in the colonies. She and her Squad enjoyed a productive time there, spending much time doing Civil Work bringing Rola Sierrie and Corali Forest back into hand for her realm. While on campaign with Outer Tilog into Giblot, she then received a letter from her younger brother, who now had found his way to a little realm on the Beluaterra. Melhed it was called. He described its small population, its northern location, and the need for more troopleaders to keep the wild northland under control. About this time, Fey was offered the countship of Rola Sierrie.

The tough decision standing, Fey's heart went to her twin brother, and new lands awaiting exploration. She gratefully declined the position and made ready to explore abroad, leqaving her Squad to aid in the defense of Lukon. She has promised to return one day and once again serve the noble realm of Lukon.

She has been in Melhed for some time now. Its democracy appeals to her, and the people are all so warm and friendly despite the hostile climate they live in. Fey was first named as Countess of the region of Bil Havil in Melhed, and thus to the Senate of Melhed. She was later voted in as Grand Justiciar of Melhed, the highest position any in her family have ever held. She held the position for quite some time, but recently left the duty to be taken over by another, as she worked to form the Tribune, representative of the commoners' voice in Melhed. She had a passion for the hardworking common people. She cares for her people before all else, as you can see should you read further tales of her adventures.

She was elected as Senator of Fronepu, but despite all her tireless toil for the people, working with little to no sleep, holding courts, directing civil workers and police squads, the citizens would have none of it, rioting and killing their own in efforts to oust her. The rogue citizens still resisted her efforts to bring democracy after months of work, and she stepped down from the position in hopes that another Senator would have more success. She was almost immediately elected Senator of Tepmona, and had some success there before Daimon marauding and tumultuous international politics caused her people to go rogue again.

Frustrated at her own lack of ability to bring security and order to her people, the passionate side of Fey flared up. The small and fierce Senator of Melhed laid down her mantle as troopleader, as it obviously as insufficient to help her people. Instead she picked up the russet mantle of an infiltrator, determined that if the people would not see order and purpose standing in front of them, they would have it brought to them through the shadows.

A few days in the life of the little Twix lady (first career)...

Recent History

Some time after, though only those involved directly are entirely certain of when, Fey took a partner named Bearnard Everlight and settled down. Their home life was anything but dull, but again that is a fact known to few. The pair had several children and took ownership of a grand manorhouse in the old Thalmarkin region of Wailing Wood. Many years passed, and Fey Twix of Melhed disappeared from the memory of most on Beluaterra. Many of her friends had died or disappeared, her twin brother Dyan Twix included. Only her friend Bob Baceolus was still wandering the continent in the public eye.

It was at this point that the letters from home stopped coming. On the longest night of the year, the Winter's Dark festival, her brother appeared at the Everlight Manor. He came asking whether she had heard from their parents or anyone, as letters had been sent regularly to the pair at least a few times a year care of the capital, Agyr. They had heard no calamity or tragedy from the Colonies, just... nothing. After another tearful reunion with her brother, who was now not in any state to travel so far, she resolved to investigate and find out what had become of their family. And so the little Twix lady resumed her knighthood and returned to where it all began...
