The Grand Hall of Twinblade
Originating from both Taop (in the Far East) and Scio (in the East Continent) they earned their way to being nobles by manufacturing spotless white silk, woven into beautifully elegant cloaks. Also known for making some of the finest blades in the world, not of metal, but of precious stones and jewels, smithed into the finest and sharpest blades that have yet to be discovered!
Generations of Twinblade
Pre-Generation: Brom ----- Gemini | | | | Original Generation: Scion --- Robert --- Tal & Talless Glenwing | | | | | | New Generation: Ashlyn --- Blank & Beatrix Eckosaber
Scion's only son, and elder of his twin sister Beatrix. Fostered by his uncle, Tal, in the mountainous region of Scio, he has chosen to serve the Kingdom of Caligus like his aunt Talless before him. The twins both bear a single blade of crimson ruby, the only heirlooms passed down to them from thier father. Blank is quick witted and has a tendency to gossip more than the average male of his age. Though he has a slight problem of being able to hold his tongue, he can hold his own with a blade. He talks a big game and likes bites off more than he can chew.
Blank is seemingly following in the footsteps of his Aunt Talles. Having been the only champion of Aestus, Blank was appointed as Baron of Aestus after his liege had been struck down by a Caligan infiltrator gone rogue. War broke out between Perdan and Caligus after Caligus assisted Ibladesh in penetrating the city of Xavax which greatly wounded Ibladesh's enemy Itorunt. This is when Blank fought on the front lines and his honor and prestige as a noble increased greatly. After the war had taken a direction that favored Perdan over Caligus a rebellion was declared against King Dobromir of Caligus by Cloud Strika, then Royal Treasurer of the realm. Blank swiftly sided with the loyalist, and Caligus threw off both the rebels and a massive Perdanese invasion off the walls of Domus (the Caligan capital) within two days time. Once the rebellion had failed, Blank was selected to serve the Kingdom as Royal Treasurer in place of rebel banker.

Beatrix is the youngest, though only slightly, daughter of Scion. Also fostered by Tal, she has returned to the lands Heen where her father became legend. It is there she wishes to live her life as her father did, fighting for the people and standing between the Heenites and all monsters, undead hordes, daimons, and realms that wish to harm them. Upon arriving, she became a Knight of Tor, and immediately began her military service by campaigning against Enweil. After 16 days of reliable useful service, she was announced as Second in Command of the Celtic Legion, largest army of Heen. After 26 days of service, she was appointed as the new Countess of Tor, in place of her former lord who fell ill. During her campaigns against Enweil, she had established a strange and unclear relationship, possibly a rivalry, with one Nicolas Chénier (Marshal of the army of Fengen, General of Enweil). She has also begun developing friendships with Concobhar O'Deaghaidh (King of Heen), Marzo Zond (Duke of Tahgalez, Marshal of the Celtic Legion) and many other Heenite Nobles.
After establishing her loyalties, Beatrix was promoted to Ambassador of the realm after the former ambassador was called away to attend personal issues. After her former liege Unbeliever had regained his health, Beatrix stood aside and allowed him to retake his post as Count of Tor. She then swore an oath as a knight of Latlan. The Celtic army was reformed shortly after the former duke of Latlan had fallen ill, and the new Army was named the Celtic Armatha. Beatrix did not go on to serve this army as second in command.

Eckosaber is the only living Twinblade that is not a descendant of Scion. His father Glenwing gave his life to save Eckosabers as they attempted to flee the lands of Beluaterra during the third invasion of the daimonic hordes. Having been taken in by his last known living relative, Tal, he too was raised in the region of Scio. Brought up with both Blank and Beatrix as his comrades, he chose to walk a different path than those chosen by his twin cousins. Born with an enormous amount of natural military leadership, he served in the Westmoorian army for a short time. He then boarded a ship to Beluaterra and joined the Kingdom of Irombrozia, for he had spoken to an old friend of the family, Hireshmont Vellos that the kingdom was in need of more nobles. Upon his arrival, he learned the realm was in need of a General, which was a position he was more than eager enough to fill. He currently commands the military as General of Irombrozia and Marshal of the First Legion in a war against Riombara. Weeks into the war as commander, Kingdom of Alluran declared war against the winning Irombrozia and its ally Avalon to aid their ally Riombara. Irombrozia, being generally isolated from its allies, now faces a grim two front war with Eckosaber in command fighting for survival.
Eckosaber was appointed as Marquess of Ruefllio after his former liege had been captured during battle. He lost command of the region due to the brutal invading forces of Kingdom of Alluran 16 days later. After the loss of his region, he swore an oath to the city of Irombro. As the war continued to rage, Irombrozia was able to re-capture Rii, where Eckosaber was announced as the new Baron. Eckosabers liege Torrero Capriche, retired from nobility and so the First Legion was disbanded. It its place the new duke of Irombro called the army the Army of the Phoenix, where Eckosaber was announced the marshal once more.

Eldest daughter of Scion, though only by a few months. While Blank and Beatrix were the children of one of Scions commoner mistresses-made-wife, Ashlyn has noble blood from both sides of her family. Scion had a short affair with the noble priestess Illandra Tian during the short time of peace following the civil war in Heen. However, Illandra hid her pregnancy from both Scion and Kagurati, her elder brother and the then duke of the capital stronghold Tahgalez. She feared that the revelation of her pregnancy to the two men would only stress the relationship as King and Duke. Illandra left the lands of Heen claiming a call to preach Qyrvaggism elsewhere, when her real intent was to keep her pregnancy and birth of Ashlyn hidden. She went to Aix, where her eldest sister Yunari had settled, and asked of her to care for Ashlyn so that she could return Heen and carry on preaching. Yunari aggreed and Illandra left only return a few years later. Eventually Kagurati had found out about Ashlyn, during one of his visits to Aix, where the Tian Family was established. However, Scion, and the remainder of his family, died without ever knowing about her existence.
Ashlyn, when of age, chose to travel to the wilds of Dwilight and serve as her uncle Zanaras Tian's knight in the realm of Ordenstaat. Only knowing her mothers side of the family, she has no knowledge of her younger siblings or cousin. She does not blame her father for not being in her life, understanding the circumstances of which she was born into, but is instead proud to be of two great nobles families. After approximately 3 weeks of service in Ordenstaat, Ashlyn's uncle Zanaras seceded his city of Twainville and creating the Kingdom of Silverfall, in which Ashlyn followed him immediately.
Silverfall was not meant to surface at this time. The city fell within a matter of days, and Ashlyn fled for the coast. Rumors that she had been killed and retired flew wildly around until she resurfaced some days later on the shores of Aquilegia. She swore an oath to the duke of Flowrestown and became a follower of the religion Sanguis Astroism. Shorty after her joining a rebellion ensued as a demon possessed duke attempted to take the capital. Having just arrived, Ashlyn did not have proper recognition nor influence to side with either the loyalist or rebels. The rebels failed. Looked upon as a neutral third party, Ashlyn was appointed as the duchess of Flowrestown in place of the former rebel duke. She then re-founded the realm's army, naming it the Shadowgaurd of the Bloodstars, where she annouced herself as the Marshal. She was breifly elected as the General of the realm after the former general had been captured in battle. She was then replaced by the rightful general during monthly elections. Ashlyn was also elected as Empress of Aquilegia, but the minority of the realm that did not support her choice of remaining duchess and ruler were able to rally enough support that she was forced to leave the throne. She now remains as the Marshal and Duchess.
It has always been the dream of the Twinblade family to preside over Flowrestown. This was a great accomplishment for the family. The Twinblade's have had eyes upon that city since before the mapping of the land had been complete, let alone colony attempts.
Retired Nobilities and Tales of the Deceased
The Legend of Scion the Skilled
Brom's eldest son in the Twinblade family. Scion dressed in a very captivating shade of crimson. Some said his cloak was once white, but it was stained red with the blood of his enemies. At 6'4" Scion looked like a reckless warmonger, when really he was a strategist. He wielded a 62-inch longsword with a silver handle and blade of ruby strapped across his back. Nobody would have guessed he was of the Twinblade family, that is, until they saw Scion's second blade, a dagger, swiftly planted into an adversary's throat.....
Scion began his military career as a solider in the Antoza Commonwealth army. Soon after he emigrated to the land of monsters and undead known as Beluaterra. Once he arrived in Beluaterra he joined the desert realm of Varyamo Nolvo. A month after his arrival he was elected banker. After the death of his friend Randolf, Scion was appointed Count of Kif. On May 30, 2006. Scion was defeated as Minister of Finances in June of '06 by Wolfgang. Elected Minister of Defense July 9th of '06. Stepped down from Lordship of Kif due to distance of Kif from the capital. He couldn't lead the army and be lord of Kif at the same time. Had plotted and initiated a rebellion in Varyamo Nolvo against the corrupt democracy, and victory was assured until the 'gods' intervened. They proclaimed that the 'rebels' failed. He fled to the new Kingdom of Heen, was elected Archpriest, ousted the incapable ruler, and then was anointed King. Shortly after he appointed himself Royal Treasurer but stepped down when a capable and deserving experienced noble, Medium Steele, was permitted by the populace to replace him. Shortly after, the Archpriest of Heen was seriously wounded in a Duel to first surrender, and Scion was re-elected as Archpriest. After deporting Grey Dagger for the charges of high treason (yet sparing his life), Scion stepped down as Archpriest to let his new successor Kagurati Tian to be elected. Scion also ended a feud with Skadhi Storm former Duchess of Latlan, former Pontifix and Paladin Primus of Vice, and now a former Arch-enemy of Scion.:
Scion the Skilled, King and Arch Priest of Heen meets his challenger Lady Skadhi, Duchess of Latlan for the agreed duel till death.
Skadhi has decided to use the 'neutral' strategy while Scion the Skilled has chosen the 'trick moves' strategy, giving Skadhi the advantage.
The duel runs its course, until Scion the Skilled delivers a fatal blow. The healers carry Skadhi away, seriously wounded but still breathing. Scion the Skilled, although the winner, has also been slightly injured.
Scion also met his other Arch-enemy Dead Angel (former Chancellor, Minister of Finances and Minister of Defense of Varyamo Nolvo) in a duel to the death and came out victorious:
Scion the Skilled, King of Heen meets his challenger Sir Dead Angel (Royal) for the agreed duel till death.
Both participants are using the 'defensive' strategy, so that neither has an advantage.
The duel runs its course, until Scion the Skilled delivers a fatal blow. The healers carry Dead Angel away, seriously wounded but still breathing.Since there was a bounty out on him, Scion the Skilled gladly collects.
Scion ruled Heen during the bloodiest civil war the desert had ever seen. As Scion had accomplished his goals and fresh hordes of diamons began to ravage the countryside, he stepped aside for a young, loyal, dependable woman, Martana Curs, to rule in his stead as he began a peaceful and permanent retirement.

The Heroics of Glenwing the Gallant
Lance in hand and daggers at his side, Glenwing moved very gallantly. He was almost always seen upon horseback. His life goal was to become a great heroic joustmaster. He has dark black hair, emerald green eyes. His colors beared as an elegant and noble shade of black that matches his hair with fancy emerald embroideries, that matched his eyes, which lined the gallant folds of his cloths. A perfectionist at heart. He tried to do everything with as much grace and as perfect as possible.
Began his career in Abington, but became tiresome of the competition of so many nobles, and left to live a life as a hero in the Heroic realm of Khthon. Upon his arrival to Khthon, he found there were no nobles other than the man that held absolute power. This man immediately granted him a fued, and he was quickly appointed as duke of Dyomoque. During his time as duke of Dyomoque, he founded the Hall of Heroism. Shortly after he announced he would lead his own duchy into battle. And did so until November 4, 2006, when he was inadvertently banished from Khthon, when a very unexperienced judge banished him out of the blue for supposedly knowing about illegal activities that a former Minister of Finances did. Being innocent, but stripped of his city, his army, and his rights as a noble, Glenwing went to Plergoth. But finding that the culprit that accused him as his conspirator, Glenwing made to leave the country, but was ambushed by a small horde of monsters. He died protecting his infant son Eckosaber, who was then sent to Caligus to be fostered by his closest living relative, Tal.
The Ballad of Brom the Storyteller
Weilding two twelve-inch rapiers made of pure sapphire, Brom was always collective and cool and he never lost his temper. He dressed in a very classy deep clam and cool ocean blue, not only does it match his personality but it also matches his rapiers. When Brom fought he always waited for his opponent to come to him, he preformed very tricky and dangerous moves that he learned while entertaining many a king as a bard. Very few have ever crossed Brom got away with it unscathed.
Brom was once called Brom the Bard, though he could no longer sing giving him the title of Storyteller, for he still told stories. He was a former bard and had bought his way unto nobility from the wealth he earned on his past journeys. Nobody's sure what made him leave the mansion in Taop, though most of them think it had something to do with Robert's vanishing and tale. Nobody's sure why he chose to proclaim his nobility Taith Aenil, but they all knew he had a taste for traveling.
He quickly left for a new realm/religion called Light of Fountain in East Continent, but didn't find what he was looking for, then left to join the dying Oligarch and was present in Oligarch city during its besiegement. When Oligarch City was falling Brom made his attempt to escape. He was first captured in Hagley by Fontan. He requested his release from their Supreme Judge, and his request was fulfilled and Brom found himself back in Oligarch City. He attempted to escape the Old Rancagua only to be captured in Pointers. He escaped by finding an old passageway. Making new contacts with his old friend and founder of the Light of Fountain religion, he gained permission to flee to Light of Fountain the realm. When he finally reached Negev, he found his ban still in valid. At that point he gave up and left to the tournament in Sirion City. There he retired from nobility for he was too poor to retain nobility. He went to work as a peasant and went back to his home of Taith Aenil to find it divided and dying. He was quickly appointed as marshal of the City of Nahad, but his home was doomed. Taith Aenil was destroyed by Orphen and Luyten. Traiors of the ArchAngela. Brom quickly joined Greater Aenilia, but annouced that he will devout his life to seeing its destruction and was quickly banned. He left in disgust but was captured in Nahad after being seriously wounded by one of his fellow nobles that stuggled to keep TA alive, the infiltrator and final Fiduciary of TA Dawn Strife. The judge of GA released him and Brom finally gave up and started a new life in Arcachon. He quickly rose in nobility, and was appointed as the new judge in Arcachon, along with the election of a new pontifex. Brom then served as the Haruspex Maximus of Arcachon for awhile until a major crisis and a mysterious fog cast out all lords of Arcachon.
At this point in time, Brom was anointed Pontifex by the remaining nobility. Brom governed the people of Arcachon from January 9 to January 22 of '07. He reappointed himself Haruspex Maximus, having lost the title once elected. After the former lords had rejoined the ranks of nobility, he stepped down allowing free election of a new pontifex. He had intended to re-run, but the loss of Honor and Prestiege after his stepping down made him ineligible. So he continued on as the Haruspex Maximus of Arcachon until his retiring day.

The Infamous Legacy of Robert the Relentless
2nd eldest son, Robert gained his title, The Relentless, for being just that, relentless. Robert lead his men, Sir Roberts Rebels, into looting sprees, and militia massacres. He was 6'1", and dressed in a very elegant emerald green. With two 10-inch blades of pure, razor sharp emerald, Robert was a very devastating enemy, and a very resourceful ally, hes very agile, and deathly quick, he never gave up, nor did he ever show mercy......
Robert began his career in the Antoza Commonwealth army, but quickly became the well needed trader. He traded for two months then decided to leave due to the constant change in leadership, he felt as if the Commonwealth was going to become unstable. Robert then got on a ship and sailed to Atamara, where he joined the realm Minas Ithil. Two days after his arrival he was captured by Minas Ithils enemy Eston. He quickly joined them, but when he was not released from their prison, yet being of the realm he had his family purchase his freedom. He quickly retaliated against Eston. He insulted the judge and many Troop Leaders there. The judge then placed a bounty on his head for 100 gold, then he was hunted by the infiltrators of Eston while still being a noble of Eston! He was successfully assassinated twice, though only getting lightly wounded both times. He defeated two TL there in a duel to first blood and was preparing to enter a duel to the death when the judge banned him. While all this was going on he was plotting a rebellion. Will all plans failed, Robert proclaimed himself rouge. Then his unit got smashed in the capital of Eston (Hawthorn) leaving RtR with only 8 wounded men. He quickly departed to Slantrax, Darka only to have his 1 recovered infantry smashed by pursuers. The he made a dash for Wistir, Darka only to have his 1 recovered unit again smashed by Darkan forces. With only 6 wounded men left, Robert quickly joined Darka, he abandoned his wounded men and so he may get to Azzal, the capital of Darka, faster. Immediately Robert did not make friends, he insulted Darka's Goddess and Volcano, getting him banned hours after joining. So he made an attempt to dash Azzal to manipulate some followers from Wistir to Turtul to Tolhuar and then Azzal, when he reached Tolhuar was attacked by a Darkan infiltrator, under these encouragements from the King and ArchPriest of Darka:

Arch Priestess of Darka, Countess of Zin
This Infiltrator seriously wounded him. By the time he recovered he was rouge. Robert then made a dash for the next closest realm, Talerium, by going from Tolhuar to Olzea to Maycxal and then to Quetli of Talerium where he joined the realm. Again, instant enemies and a ban placed on him hours after the alerting of his presence. So he made a run for Chocxal in another attempt to manipulate some men. But when he reached the capital, all men were aware of his deeds and Robert was unable to find any followers. So after the disappointment he set his sights for Falasan. He traveled through Mattlu to Axtli and the final stop of his known life Lakota. When he reached Lakota he ran into some roaming monsters (he was rouge at the time). Convinced that he had summoned the monsters and that he is the Prince of Rouge, Robert dropped from all existence to travel with these beasts. To this day Robert calls himself Prince of the Rouge and he by far has made the most enemies, for himself and for the Twinblade Family. Nothing more is known of Robert the Relentless, but his family shall pass down this legacy from generation to generation.
The Outspoken Life of Talless the Tactical
Baby sister to Scion and Robert and twin to Tal, Talless was very tactical for her young age. Talless wielded 2 27-inch broadswords strapped across her back. Her blades were made of pure gold, yellow in the handle and white in the blades themselves. She never rushed recklessly into battles, but liked to pick fights nonetheless. Talless dressed in spotless white, and at the height of 5'11", made her look like an angel from afar. That was, until you saw the swords..........
Began her career in Caligus. She and Tal came to Caligus together, while Tal decided to reside in Akesh Temple start a family, then later moved to Domus, Talless decided to fight for Caligus. She was appointed countess of Supra after a huge battle. The former countess, Tramii was injured and the walled needed quick repair. Talless repaired the walls then stepped down once Tramii was recovered and able to take back her rightful place. Talless created and is the head editor of the Caligan Courier. She was appointed Baroness of Aestus but was captured by Yssarian forces 3 days later forcing her abdication. She is one of the first members of the Caligan Calvary Corpus battle group in Caligus. She was reappointed Baroness of Aestes May 29, 2006, but later captured by monsters and once again lost her region on June 25, 2006. Appointed Royal Tresuer of Caligus after a brief rebellion (She remained neutral), but shortly after was stuck by lightning in a freak storm after 'insulting' the 'gods'.
