After the battle, Willem checked on his wounded men. The Estonites fought well, but were overwhelmed. It was good to fight alongside Ilya. He hadn't seen her for over a week. Since she brought her men north from Belegmon, there hadn't been a chance to talk with her before the battle started. A quick nod and a smile. That's all he was able to share.
Now, with seven of his men wounded and just one healer, it would take a while. He went back to his tent.
