Pressurised by repeated losses in Storms End and Torrents Breath, all of them heavy losses for Libero Empire, the newly appointed Royal Marshal of the Liberite army (and ousted ruler of Averoth) Theodred Hormondson ordered an attack straight into Storms Keep, as opposed to a failed attempt at blockading Thulsoma in Storms Keep, which as Libero had learnt, always ended in slaughter for their army. Most notably this is the first battle Lady Haruka Vanimedle did not take command of, but rather her Vice Marshal, Raviel Armityle. The result of this battle was a crushing defeat for the Liberite Empire, with near non existent losses to the Saxon's.
