| War with Khthon | |
A few days ago, Khthon, the realm of Heroes recently refounded in the South Plains area of Beluaterra, declared war on Vice. The declaration was both unexpected and out of the blue. I personally contacted Geoff Lious, the man that holds virtually absolute power in Khthon and he explained to me that:
A very confusing comment from the supreme leader of Khthon there. Shortly after Khthon's war declaration it was found to be more than a symbolic gesture of solidarity as the 'Heroic' army of Khthon now sit in Apokh, where they ravage the region. No, I can't believe Khthon claim to be defenders of commonfolk either... |
| Vice refounded! | |
| In late July, Vice was born again from Varyamo Nolvo in a blaze of celebration across all of the former Vicean regions. The reason why Duchess Skadhi, formerly Chancellor of Vice ceded Latlan from Varyamo Nolvo was due to an unstable situation in VN at the time. A rebellion threatened to install an anti-Hedonist government into power. Thankfully, some higher powers intervened and denied the rebels victory but they filed into another VN secession, Heen, and led a bloodless coup for power there. It looks like it'll be a while before we can begin partying without the threat of war and battle hanging over us. |
| War against Heen going Swimmingly | |
| After a somewhat rocky start, both Vice and Varyamo Nolvo are beginning to make ground in the fight for their existence against Heen. A realm sworn to the destruction of Hedonism and any other realms who follow that faith. Initially Heen had the advantage what with having 5 regions and a fair few more Nobles than those in Vice. But a drought and a sound beating from Varyamo Nolvo and small Luz de Bian forces have weakened Heen in recent weeks. Indeed, Varyamo Nolvo have now managed to wrest control of Hcallow back from Heen, taking VN to 3 regions.
Although in the beginnings of the conflict Vice suffered a couple of defeats in Watersdown, and was plagued by problems of Monsters, we ourselves have now managed to liberate Watersdown from their Heenite oppressors who willingly let Monsters chomp on them just for being Hedonists. We now look forward to liberating the rest of the Hedonists locked in Heen's oppression at the earliest possible opportunity. |
