Soliferum/The Sons of the Sun

This is a hall of honor for the lords and ladies who have proved their loyalty and dedication through tireless service to the Republic. I welcome you to learn about the people who have made the Republic what it is today. OOC Note: The players of these characters are welcome to substitute the description given for them if that is their wish. I only ask that they maintain the continuity of previously written RP.
Octavius Solari
Senator Octavius served in the Senate at Masahakon prior to the dissolution of the Svunnetland Empire. Returning to his homeland in Osaliel, the senator re-established the republican government there, christening this new realm Soliferum. Lord Octavius established a monarchy with himself as absolute ruler. Although the chaotic times called for such centralized rule, the capture and death of King Solari at the first assault on Ortedail resulted in a reformation government based on the ideals of the old Osaliel Republic. We honor Octavius Solari for giving Soliferum the opportunity to forge its own destiny independent of its neighbors to the north.
Shadow Thief
Lord Shadow Thief ascended to power following the death of Lord Solari and was key in the re-establishment of the Senate at Osaliel. Lord Shadow Thief discovered the duplicity of Soliferum and the traitor Duke Bauglir and purged Soliferum of the rot at its core. Shortly thereafter, the Prime Minister stepped down from his position and disappeared from the Far East entirely. He left behind the legacy of the mightiest of the southern nations.
Batman Bauglir
Duke Batman Bauglir assumed the role of Duke of Osaliel shortly after the loss of King Solari. The first Minister of Defense of the newborn Soliferum Republic, Duke Bauglir was the architect of the successful assault on Ortedail. While Lord Shadow Thief recovered from injuries received in this assault, the Duke negotiated the entry of Verita's nobles into the heirarchy of the Republic and it is attributed to him the merger of the two realms peoples. Due to a refusal to listen to the counsel of his fellow lords, Duke Bauglir was censured as acting Prime Minister and the role reverted to Lord Shadow Thief. Duke Bauglir was later accused of plotting to kill Lord Shadow Thief, though these accusations were never proved. The accusations came just as he was maching on Nighthelm. This later resulted in a lengthy war between Soliferum and Nighthelm, the two strongest southern nations at the time. For his actions, Batman Bauglir was stripped of all titles and positions and banned from the Republic. He was last seen departing for Beluaterra at the port of Batesaor. He now resides in the Atamara realm of Darka.
