Invitations

As preparations for the wedding between Folcard Cuvelier, High Chancellor of Riombara and Celeste Deytheur, Advisory Minister of Riombara and Viscountess of Cjelegy, were on their way, a set of invitations were dispatched to all dignitaries of the continent known as Beluaterra.

Each invitation was written on a scroll of the finest parchment that the southern lands of Beluaterra could produce. The animal skin had been carefully boiled twenty times to remove all traces from hair or other parts of the hide. It looked smooth and soft but upon touching it still had that rough parchment-like feeling. The scroll itself was adorned with colourful red-and-gold linings and sealed with a signature of Riombara's coat of arms. The text written on it was as follows;

Most honourable Excellency,

In declaration of their eternal love for each other, his most Noble Highness Folcard Cuvelier, High Chancellor of Riombara and Slayer of Midnight of the South and her most Enligthened Excellency Celeste Deytheur, Advisory Minister of the Republic and Viscountess of Cjelegy, have come forth to declare to the world their unity in life, to be officiated in the face of men and Gods on (add date).

Not wishing to withhold your Excellency from attending such a wonderful ceremony this parchment will serve as the official invitation to the Royal wedding held in the Republic's city of Rines. Quarters for you and your entourage will be prepared and only the finest rooms and the best food will be provided for you.

The ceremony will be lead by High Priestess Liara, leader of Quintarianism, the most righteous faith to which both betrothed belong. In the face of the Five they shall swear their undying love and promise vows of unity.

In addition to the religious ceremony and the feast afterwards, a grand tournament shall be held to awe all of Beluaterra, with unforeseen prizes for the winners. The tournament shall be held in honour of the two betrothed and the winner of both the sword fighting competition and the jousting shall be granted a request to be fulfilled by the High Chancellor.
