Prepare to be stripped!...
By Revan

28.06.06 - ...of all your titles if you are one of the Giblot council members Chancellor Alexander refers to! After one of the worst single months for Giblot since it's earliest months of war against Outer Tilog (many years ago), Alexander has finally decided to deliver an ultimatum to the General, Banker and Duke of our realm. They must either pull their finger out, or lose their position to someone who will actually do it! That seems to be the message of the day.

The reason for the ultimatum by Alexander is the alleged silence by the Council Members in question who are consistently failing to fulfil their duties. In a move the GGG supports whole heartedly, unless the council members in question pull themselves together, and quickly, they shall be stripped of their position by our Chancellor. However Frodo Reborn, the General, has already begun protesting at the action as Alexander simultaneously announced Robert der Trihs as the new leader of the Army. The elections this month could turn out to be very interesting indeed..

The GGG's Election Nominations:
Ruler - Alexander | Judge - Goergyboy | General - Robert | Banker - James | Duke - Me! hehe
Rebellion in..Wetham!
By Revan

26.06.06 - Shocking eh? Rebellion in the Colonies that had absolutely nothing to do with a member of Giblot. That makes three successive months without rebellion now by the way. The day we hit four months, we'll have a new record for the year! In any case, the rebellion in Wetham!

We at the GGG know very little about the internal or external situation which may have influenced such a 'drastic' action, though it is apparent that Wetham is suffering a bloody awful beating at the hands of the Assassins Guild right now. Yes thats right, that realm of brigands, murderers and pickpockets is defeating a Kingdom that actually has a well trained army. Disgraceful. Anyway we feel that this could have a big hand in why Wetham's old King, von Mellenthin who was on the throne for literally decades before he stepped aside began a rebellion yesterday morning. Needless to say we were quite surprised when we first learned of this as we remember getting word of the cold words von Mellenthin had for the rebellion in Giblot a while back or indeed it might even have been the rebellion in Alowca before that. von Mellenthin is opposed to 'upstarts' apparently. From prior experience I can tell you that Wetham has an interesting few days ahead of them, regardless of the outcome..

Update: 27.06.06 - Although we still know little of the actual reasoning or situation regarding the uprising in Wetham we are happy to announce that the hypocrit von Mellenthin was defeated soundly within only a day of declaring open rebellion. Signalling either that the Militia in the capital were too strong for the man or he really didn't get the support he hoped for...

Update: 28.06.06 - Shock horror! The GGG has actually unearthed some real facts regarding the rebellion in Wetham. Check your free supplement for the new article on the recent Wetham uprising

MGRHA screws up again in the attack in Steepglades!
By Revan

27.06.06 - I swear his Unit retreated from the battlefield first! Honest! Then he started..talking or something which caused even more of a hoohah! Giblot elders in uproar...blah blah! - Haha! Actually no, I kid. This headline is merely a special request after MGRHA helpfully came up with this headline all by himself. To hell if I know what on earth he was doing in the latest battle for Steepglades - where we were crushed by the way - I was having to fight tooth and nail to even keep a purchase on the battlements. Oh yes by the way folks, I have taken up the sword again to fight as a Nobleman. Anyway although to an extent I succeeded in staying in the battle, I was one of the final Giblot Nobles fighting. Thus I was bloody captured wasnt I.

Indeed. I had a good bit of time to ponder in that Tilogian jail cell. In fact it hit me that that was pretty much the first time we have been defeated offensively by Outer Tilog since we first took Steepglades off them many years ago. It was quite depressing. In any case, things have moved on a bit since Lukon and Outer Tilog slaughtered us in Steepglades. Lukon has now begun a campaign of looting throughout our lands whilst Outer Tilog runs a brutal takeover in Steeps. It's a bad outlook. But even if we lose Steepglades we shall still be the largest realm on the continent...
