From the beginning the Daimons took an interest in conquering Jobo's Mouth, and the surrounding areas to make it their Headquarters on Beluaterra. However, after the Daimons secured that area they all began to move out to campaign elsewhere. Seizing this opportunity Sint has now begun a campaign northwards to regain its lost territory. The Sintians are not alone in their efforts. Their armies are joined by forces from Plergoth, and Heen. A friendly takeover has already begun in Fianik. Perhaps, by the time the Daimons are through attacking the southern peninsula, they will have already lost their land holdings on the continent. Thrydwulf Grancourt, the High Marshal of Heen has said of the campaign quote:
"We are hoping for a swift recovery of the regions for Sint." I think all Beluaterra shares his sentiments.

| Vader Vexes Valentia

Three days ago a rebellion broke out in the theocratic northern state of Valentia. A prominent Valentic leader now tells us that this revolt is led by a noble named Vader who claims that according to Valentic religious doctrine, good Valentics are to "fight the unholy." Because the Paladin Primus of Valentia has not ordered the Valentic army to move out and fight the non-human factions, Vader believes the ruling council breaches a religious Code of Ethics. In order to right this, the man has entered into a revolt.
Vader it appears claimed the support of the Valentic Clergy, however an important Valentic priest we asked denies that claim quote "he could have simply protested."

The Valentic leader we questioned has informed us that government has corrected the situation. There should be no radical changes to Valentia's policies, and the rebellion will soon fail due to lack of popular support.

| Undead, friend, foe, or something else?

Despite the military success of the undead, negative suspicions about then continue due to the intense secrecy with which the Necromancer's Servants guard their information. The great enigma that surrounds the undead has resulted in a number of theories about them to arise. One concept, thought up by the notable Commander Kimberly of Plergoth theorizes that the undead are actually the runaway slaves of the Daimons. Proponents of this theory claim that the undead are simply using humans as a buffer between them and the Daimons. The proponents cite testimony from two key individuals, the enigmatic Leader of "Lost Souls" Alfredo, and the runaway Daimon, Jonathan as support for their theory.
Apparently many key generals such as Minister Tarajist of Mesh and High Marshal Thrydwulf of Heen also subscribe to this theory. Rumors abound that the Sultaness of the Sands herself, her majesty Queen Martana of Heen may also believe the undead slaves theory. It also already know that her majesty considers the undead "no use at all" and "scared of the Daimons."
On the opposite end of the spectrum are the views of Prime Minister Grego of Fronen. He believes that the undead are not slaves, but in fact winning a war in a subterranean world called the Abyss. The Prime Minister cites the Daimon's tactic of gathering many large units by Jobo's Mouth, almost a circling of the wagons type strategy as evidence of this. He also considers the Daimons tactic of controlling multiple military units at once ineffective and a sign of weakness. Grego believes the testimony from Alfredo is incorrect and brought about by a sort of Daimonic mind control technique.
As of now, nobody knows for sure the real story behind the undead and the Daimons. We'll keep you updated with any new information on the subject.

| Happenings in Heen

The past few days have been a period of turmoil in the desert monarchy of Heen. Four days ago the Necromancer's Servants entered Heen via its southeastern border. From that point the undead began a trek through the desert into northwest Heen. This action incited criticism from notable world leaders. Human allies of the undead criticized them for not moving more quickly to nip the Daimon threat in the bud.
Such concerns were addressed at dawn this morning, when Undead forces numbering 38,000 CS fought successfully against 23,000 CS of Daimons in the scraggly forest of Kif of northern Heen. Now the million gold piece question is, what will the undead do? Will they follow the advice of their human allies, to go on the offensive against the demons? Or will they instead attack Heen, a monster ally? Either decision could have serious ramifications. The Face of Fronen will be following this story.

| The Truth of the Plergothic Rebellion

Recently, the central Beluaterran realm of Plergoth, has seen a successful rebellion. Unlike some rebellions like Fronen's own Black January, this rebellion was not a Civil War. Instead it was a religious revolution designed only to change the type of government, not the leaders. It seems that Plergoth is such a homogeneous society, that a democracy doesn't suit its needs as well as a Daishi Theocracy. Here is what rebel leader (now Pontifex) Bleeder had to say, quote:
"Reason for the rebellion. We wanted to change the government to match the beliefs and ideals of the
Nobles and peasants of Plergoth. The majority of the Nobles and peasants of Plergoth follow Daishi.
This was a revolution of dissatisfaction of the government body, not the Nobles leading the government.
The previous Realm Office holders with the exception of VonGarrett were voted back into their positions.
No fines, bans or punishments are forthcoming from any who sided with the Loyalists.
No Region Lords with the exception of myself were removed from their position.
The current reforms in Plergoth are focused on strengthening the regions
and preparing for the events during this Invasion. These tasks will be easier since the peasants know that
the Nobles and now the government uphold their way of life and expected traditions."

| Daimons continue to kill

Surpised? Hope not since this is nothing new. Recently on top of all the troops the daimons have killed off, they have also killed this editors brother. Recently news reached Fronen showing that the daimons had publicly executed Squall near one of the ways into and out of their lands. So far nobody knows why they would bother making such a big fuss of killing a simple commoner, as he had not proven his nobility yet but they did. Perhaps it was just to get one nobles attention, show they will kill anyone, or simply have it be a warning. One thing is for sure, he is gone and the daimons must pay for all the lives they are taking from us all.

| Daimons and Dissent:
Dual Problems for Realm Control

This morning, upon losing a battle in Marpii against the Daimonic hordes, Fronenfinds itself in a poor condition. The Daimons tramping about the countryside continue to cause damage to people and property. Furthermore, many regions in the realm have high taxes and/or estates that aren't set properly leading to low control, low morale, and low loyalty. This morning, longtime Fronenian citizens, the residents of Xhahgus have expressed their dissent with the government by declaring independence. Their declaration results from a culmination of many factors. Daimons were in the region recently, taxes in the region were "insanely high," estates were not set up. While Fronen hopes to have the situation under control soon, it has shed light on problems of region management and serves as a warning to watch all these factors.

| Daimonic Assaults Continue

Despite successfully defending itself from the Daimonic hordes less than a week ago, Fronen now finds itself under siege yet again. Dreadlord Vanquishing of the Netherworld, the Daimon Fronen killed in the last battle in Qual has now returned and occupies the small lakeside city of Vur Hagin with a force of approximately 13,000 CS. To make matters worse, another Daimonic force lead by the Dreadlord Improbable occupies the mountains of Qual with a force of about 23000 CS. Fearing that the two Daimonic armies could join forces, Fronen's armies now assemble to defeat the two hordes separately. With any luck, the latest Daimon threat can be swiftly eliminated.

| Reform Fails

After a long debate and editing process, Fronen's Constitutional reform has hit another wall. A five-day referendum to officiate a new Constitution for Fronen ended this morning. The results were mixed. Seventeen lords were asked to vote. Of those seventeen, ten chose to vote "yes" to the Constitution, one chose to abstain, and six others did not vote. Prime Minister Grego Nosferatus made it clear to the lords that any vote that was not cast would be counted as a vote against the reforms, and that two-thirds of the House would need to ratify the document. Therefore, atleast for the time being, the lengthy document will not replace the current Code of Laws. However, supporters of the reforms will surely try to find another way to get the document ratified. Only time will tell.

| Qual back under control

Vanquishing, one of the Daimon leaders was killed in Qual as Fronen, Riombara, Melhed and Old Grehk came together to fight the Daimons. Although the battle at first was lost, the daimons lost too much to continue the fight. With this repairs started almost immediately on Qual. The question is now, where will the daimons attack next, and are we ready for them?

| New month, New volume, New news

Today it's the first of August and already we have news for you from the Republic of Fronen.
To start with, Lloringel finally has a lord again after Count Cyrus disappeared.
Lord Cloud, former Grand Judge and Baron of Cori has just recently been appointed by Duke Adras of Vur Hagin as the new Count of Vur Hagin.
The duchy of Vur Hagin now counts no lordless regions.
Only The Regions of Qual and Vale are still Lordless in The Duchy of Fronepu.
And Bisana as only lordless region in The Duchy of Mhed.
These regions will soon be granted a new Lord by the hand of Duke Tirdius and Duke Alexius, many speculations are made on whom would become the new Lords.
Reliable sources tell us that Sir Wolfstan will most probably be appointed in Qual.
The other Lords names are merely speculations.
On another note, the election are in:
Prime Minister Grego has been re-elected with 61% of the valid votes, 20 of the 160 valid votes where cast, this is however slightly more then last time.
The Grand Judge elections where won by Alexius with 55% of the votes, reinstating him as Grand Justicar of Fronen.
Our realm wide region control campaign has started and statistics are already rising.
The situation in Qrelg is officially under control.
