Unotosa

Size: Small Shack (1)

Description:
The Temple of Unotosa is located in the middle of the huge square of Unotosa. The square is the centre of Unotosa and lies in between the two Harbours that go to Soniel and Apasur. The things that happened to Unotosa in Sartania's War against Archanon are engraved in a decorative band around the Temple. The back shows the reason of the war. Sartan is seen defending Sartanians from the attacks of Infiltrators sent by the evil Archanon. The west side shows Unotosa's liberation. At one side Sartan is seen helping the Sartanians drive off the evil Northerners out of Unotosa. At the other side Ascanius and his men are seen destroying the Temple of Evil. The east side shows the converting of Unotosa. At one side Sartan is seen helping the Priest Arfeiniel to spread the faith of the Church. At the other side several evil followers are seen retreating from Unotosa. The front shows the quick recovery of Unotosa. Sartan is seen watching over Unotosa, while they rebuild the region and enjoy their freedom, happiness and prosperity. The inside of the Temple is one open room. There a few more rooms in the back, reserved for the local personnel of the Church. In the open room are works showing Sartan earning his place among the Gods as a mortal, the actual arising of Sartan in the battle of Nem-e-kabu, others following his Moral Code of Conduct, Sartan punishing evil, Sartan showing mercy and Sartan guiding others towards their faith. One of the paintings shows a Priest knelt down before a Altar. Besides the Priest lies a Wooden Staff. On the top of the Staff the four Gods are carved out. Ramsus is in the middle and under him the three other Gods surround him. Behind the Altar a vague Sartan hears the praying of the Priest. If one pays good attention in the Temple he can also find other very good hidden references to the other three Gods. Though that requires enough understanding of the other three Gods and a bit of guesswork.

Tales:
The Temple of Unotosa was built just after the very quick recovery of Unotosa. It stands as a reminder for the local population of the quick recovery and as proof of the happiness and prosperity one gets when accepting Sartan's mercy and embracing the Church. Local followers have given the Temple the name: The Temple of Faith. They see the construction of the Temple as the first step towards converting the Northern Island towards the Church of Sartan.
Arfeiniel has ordered the making of the painting about the praying Priest. The Priest is supposed to be him praying before the Altar in Al Aquabah on the East Continent. Arfeiniel prayed there for a sign of Sartan, as there was a lot of unrest in Ibladesh. Shortly after this prayer he was guided towards Sartania. He was no Priest back then, but he found a Priest more fitting. He didn't had any Wooden Staff either. The Wooden Staff is still being made in Unotosa by the finest craftsmen.
