The Blood Cult/Sects/Xerotl/Draft

History

The history of the Sect of Xerotl predates the organization of The Blood Cult. Originally organized in the Republic of Fwuvoghor, the Church of Teros consisted of a small group of individuals lead by Capone "the Slayer" Stefanovic, and was utterly devoted in their worship of Teros, the Lord of Shadows. The church's peculiar views on life meant that there were many who completely misunderstood it - just as The Blood Cult is today. Driven from their homes and forced to watch their holy grounds burned to ash, those that remained vowed revenge.

Core Values

The Sect of Xerotl is a militant sect. They are the Protectors of the Xenotl and consider all the Xenotl and their followers as their wards. The Commandments of Xerotl are as follows:

• Defend the Xenotl and their followers.
• Destroy those who would bring harm to the Sect of Xerotl.
• Destroy those who would bring harm to the Wards of Xerotl.
• Live for Strength in all that you do; never allow your soul to falter.
• Live for Obedience in all that you do; there are none above the will of Xerotl.
• Live for Loyalty in all that you do; never allow the light to blind you.
• Defend and live by your Word.
