Daimons are the children of the Xenatl, the second "batch" of gods that came, if you will, while the undead are the creations of the Xenotl, the firts to have been created by the primal deities. Humans were the last of those to be created, and were the result of the mixing of the blood of both Xenotl and Xelatl, a more balanced being, capable of serving and following both, of maintaining the sacred cycle of life. Daimons... One can see our more aggressive natures in them, our wild emotions, our capacity to grow, even the nature of our mundane bodies, our instinctual urges... On the other side, our intellect, cunning, our culture, civilization: aspects of humanity that can be clearly seen within the undead. All in all, all our aspects can be derived from one of the two. Well... not directly, we do not descend from daimons or undeads, but we do share the same creators.
This is no more a daimon religion than the Old Gods, the Church of the Great Dragon, or any other faith you would wish to name. If a faith does not mention the daimons, then I would seriously advise their followers to reconsider their faiths, as clearly they have no understanding of the world we live in, and have no intention to discover it: they are but greedy liars which coffers to fill and politics to advance.
