Before Long sets out on his journey, he makes a few stops to several places.

Long enters the gates of Elorhir's palace.

"Duke Elorhir, my liege, I'll be setting out on a personal quest to accomplish my goal here on Atamara. I'll pass through every realm, many regions, and may not be back for awhile."

Long pulls out a locked box.

"If I should not make it back, a brother of mine will come here. Give him this box, and he should have the key somewhere. Goodbye for now."

Long exits the palace, done with one friend.

The next place he visits is the castle of the White Guardians. He sneaks in as going through the whole guard process would cause too much time to be wasted. Walking up to the king, DA3 pulls out his sword and attacks Long. Long pulls out his dagger to block.

"Lay your sword down, my King. I'm not here to harm you. I'm here to tell you that you've been a great leader to me, and probably to my brother as well. I have a journey to start on, and as soon as I'm done, I'll be leaving this realm. There are other places for me to be, and Minas Ithil isn't going to be it anymore. So, good-bye, King of Minas Ithil."

Long slips back into the shadows, to head to one last place.

He heads to a small shack of Anthonlaurism, to find the priest Anton there.

"Anton, I come here for two things. First, I come here to tell you I am leaving Minas Ithil to do what I came here for. Second, I come here to thank you. If it were not for you, I would not have continued my quest, and would be in the same place as always. So, thank you Anton, and good-bye."

Long leaves the temple, and starts out to his destination: Icegate.
