This is awesome. This is what I had hoped we could get to when the Semantic stuff was announced. It will make so many things on the wiki so much easier and more accurate. --Indirik 03:30, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

I have a little tweak/fix I'd like to make to this template. Currently if a realm and a region with the same name exist the link in this template to the owning realm goes to the region page of the same name. I have created a simple utility template (Template:HadezUtilRealmLink) that automatically fixes this when it happens and could easily be included in this template. However, as the regionData box is such a ubiquitous template on the wiki I'm hesitating to touch it without some sort of authorisation. -- wraith0x29a 01:32, 31 January 2011 (CET)

This should also fix the issue where you have a region, realm and duchy with the same name (eg. Oritolon) and the wiki neutralises self-reference links in the regionbox. It's trivial to create a comparable HadezDuchyLink utility template and use that too. wraith0x29a 03:52, 4 February 2011 (CET)

Is it possible to add some more info to this standard info box? Perhaps beeing part of which geographic features and a link to the realm page plus perhaps using the color scheme of the realm it's part of( the same colours a realm picks IG). --Vlad 12:02, 6 September 2011 (CEST)

This template is intentionally simple and lightweight. It is Tom's "reference implementation" of a semantic regional template. I used this version top create a more detailed template that c e be found at Template:RegionBox. You are free to create your own templates, as well. They should include, at a minimum, the features found in this template. --Indirik (talk), Editor (talk) 16:42, 6 September 2011 (CEST)
