Pre Battle Roleplay

Letter from Sol Tempest
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Nothoi and Irondale

We meet once again on a new battefield.

Hegemon Tyran, it seems Krites Angelica D'Anglos arrived earlier than intended and as result was captured. I have had previous conversations with Judge Angelica and she seems a most just and honorable women. It should go without saying but I will state it regardless that no harm will come to her and she will be treated with all the proper respect deserving the station as Krites of Nothoi.

It is unfortunate that we are once again meeting to slaughter each other. Now more than ever we should be working on a compromise. I implore you to reach out to our new Queen and debate the terms and demands of this war.

For Justice,
Sol Tempest

Roleplay from Quincy Stormreaver
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

"Why are we camping HERE again?", Captain Didinia asks with a mild amount of disdain as the camp is setup in an all-too-familiar place right along the border between Baqaa and Ffangor. She understood the reasoning behind delaying their arrival to ensure all the troops made it, but why THIS SPOT again... She was almost starting to dislike the 'Welcome to Ffangor, home of Beluterra's largest wooden chicken' sign since she'd seen it so much and hadn't been able to talk the Earl out of having it erected.

"Why not here? We can see the castle", Quincy points out with a slight shrug as he absently looks towards his estate through a looking glass.

Didinia barely could barely keep from growling, they'd had this conversation more times than once, this EXACT conversation or at least a very close approximation of it. He seemed to think she was always thinking ahead, which she was, but it was easy to predict her Lord's words when they went round and round in circles...

"Are there any enemies inside the castle?", she finally asks after taking the time to keep from throttling the clueless noble.

"Not that I can tell, which is strange... you'd think that would be the first place they might try to take...", Quincy muses with a puzzled tone while he continues to observe.

"Might it be because you never setup any of the furniture, hung the banners or got the giant hole in the wall fixed?", the captain suggests with a little disdain, the tone again lost on Quincy.

"I mean... I suppose... but what place would be the center of where I run the region out of if not the obvious castle?", he replies with a bit of a chuckle.

'The tavern, the whorehouse, the other tavern...', Didinia thinks to herself as she counts on her fingers, all places he spent more time in and paid more attention to than his own estate.

"No worries, that simply means they haven't found my stores of alcohol as yet... I did assure everyone drinks were on me this time if we met on our lands", Quincy shrugs. "It'll be a good distraction after we try smashing each others faces in and stabbing each other... everyone gets so... so...."

Uncertain how to phrase what he was thinking, Quincy brings the looking glass down and makes claws out of his hands and starts hissing and growling at Didinia in ridiculous fashion and she almost cracks a smile, almost.

"Either way, we'll be home tomorrow, you best get a little rest, I'll keep watch a while", Quincy instructs and gives Didinia a wink before returning to his observations.

Somehow she wanted to smack him a little less, but not much. As she moves to get her own tent setup, she walks past the large sign welcoming her to Ffangor and shakes her head.

"The chicken's not even that big...", she mutters.

Letter from Urien Poe
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Judge Tempest,

I'm coming for you.

We drink for the living and drink for the dead.

Regards
Urien Poe

Letter from Rob Storme
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

To harm my Goddess you will have to go through me, Poe

There will be no more drinking for you then.
Rob Storme

Letter from Sol Tempest
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Duke Poe

You are coming for me? How so? What for? Are you interested in defecting? I'll be honest I would not expect such a proposal from a Duke of Irondale but I am willing to discuss terms.

We can discuss over those drinks you wish to share in tribute. Last time we met Irondale on the battlefield Lord Stormreaver did happened to promise me a drink. Perhaps he could join us?

Regards,
Sol Tempest

Letter from Urien Poe
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Sir Storme,

I do believe you mean Duke Poe.

I needn't worry about you at all, as i strike for Judge Tempest i'm sure the wind from my swing shall be enough to dispatch you.

Regards
Urien Poe

Letter from Quincy Stormreaver
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Lady Sol,

I do intend on hosting said drinking festivities and would be happy to share a glass, or several.

Regards,
Quincy Stormreaver

Letter from Sol Tempest
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Earl Stormreaver

Well than if we are able post battle perhaps we could share a drink. I think I will have to revoke Duke Poe's invitation however. Based on his most recent letter I don't think he intended to share anything pleasant to drink with either of us.

I prefer white wine, I trust that won't be an issue?

Regards,
Sol Tempest

Letter from Urien Poe
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Judge Tempest,

Your recent judgement has left one of my brethren a foot shorter than he used to be and I class that as a personal slight so i will be coming for you and it won't be for drinks. No matter the deeds of Lord Adolphus he was still my friend. The only chance you ever had of me joining you died with Angela i'm afraid, and may she rest in peace.

Until tomorrow.
Urien Poe

Letter from Julian Carson
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Sir Poe,

You come after the lady Sol I will be sure you will not live to boast about it. That is a promise.

Signed,
Julian Carson

Letter from Sol Tempest
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Duke Poe

If he was your friend that can indeed be regrettable however Adolphus was a boastful self admitted attempted murderer. The only fate he found was justice for his crimes, consider it a personal slight all you want that only shows you serve vengeance, which is not surprising considering the Chief Arbiters stance on the topic.

As for Angela that was a tragedy but Irondale, Nothoi and Daishi are to blame. She took her own life over the persecution she faced over her choice in faith. I guess that is another thing you wish to blame Thalmarkin for?
Sol Tempest

Letter from Urien Poe
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Judge Tempest,

I mourn Angela as you do. Our history stretches back to our days in Bara'khur and i assure you my issues with her or any of you is not wrapped around any notion of faith. I'm the wrong person to argue with about faith, I'm Bara'khur born and my parents followed the same faith as Angela as i did once upon a time.

These days the only faith i have is in the people i hold closest.

The only person I blame for Angela's death is herself. She lacked the conviction to stand tall against her accusers.

Regards
Urien Poe

Letter from Rob Storme
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) There it is, Carson and I both now stand between you and Lady Sol, POE, whose title I leave off purposefully to signify that you are no man of nobility in my eyes! Your threats may be empty but they are heard. Prepare yourself.
Rob Storme

Letter from Urien Poe
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Count Carson,

Now that's a name i recognise. It's a shame Demetri wasn't still here as General, our battle would have been so much easier if he was.

Regards
Urien Poe

Letter from Alice Schwarzherzig
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

And now we see Thalmarkin in true colors. A Thalmar knight standing beside a jumped up commoner audaciously denying the long lineage of his betters, to defend a hypocrite who supports infiltrators, but only if they're flying the same banner.

As the sun rises, we bring you all the gift of Iron.
Alice Schwarzherzig

Letter from Julian Carson
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) Insulting a Carson will certainly be the last mistake you will ever make.
Julian Carson

Letter from Alice Schwarzherzig
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) Good news Duke Urien, henceforth you are incapable of making mistakes.
Alice Schwarzherzig

Letter from Quincy Stormreaver
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

An excellent observation Countess Alice!

All hail Urien the infallible!
Quincy Stormreaver

Letter from Alice Schwarzherzig
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) Indeed. Though, I must admit, insulting a Carson is a mistake. We should not mock those who are born slow, it is impolite.
Alice Schwarzherzig

Letter from Julian Carson
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Lady Alice,

We shall see who the slow one is when you are the ones chased from this region.

Signed,
Julian Carson

Letter from Sol Tempest
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Countess Alice

You make the third Schwarzherzig I have met in as many years. It seems some sort of odd fate that I would meet yet another, do you perhaps have any other kin to meet? We could try to keep the trend running.

I'll have you know I never judge one for the actions of their Kin but your manners seem all to familiar. Can I expect treachery from you as well or can we reach some sort of civilized understanding?

Also I think Earl Quincy should write Irondale's next motto. I bet he could come up with some excellent ideas.

Regards,
Sol Tempest
Letter from Alice Schwarzherzig
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) I do have other kin for you to meet, but my my uncle Adolphus is absolutely eager for a reunion. It will be for the best really, another Thalmar judge's career ended by a Schwarzherzig. Once again, probably a boon to Thalmarkin, for one who rushes to judgement so quick about the mannerisms of others with such little basis is likely to bring ruin with them. Or just more treason. Englebert would expect me to write a poem mocking you, but its not my style.
Alice Schwarzherzig

Letter from Alice Schwarzherzig
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Is Thalmarkin so desperste it allows farmers to lead now?

2018-09-08: Julian Banned from Obia'Syela. Reason: Left his homelands while still a commoner.

Might explain his kinsman's shortcomings as General.
Alice Schwarzherzig

Roleplay from Sol Tempest
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Lady Tempest was within her tent tending all the letters flying across the soon to be battlefield of Ffangor her Captain by her side.

"Well Gotfried it's certainly going to be an interesting morning. You know I am somewhat ashamed that last time we met Irondale on the field no one had any refreshment to provide our guest as they so pointed out. We are little less than beast if we can't share some common ground with our enemies even during war." Sol spoke in a calm manor to the towering man behind her.

The Captain only replied, "What do you mean my lady." "This" the judge waved a letter in her hand, "This letter right here, Earl Quincy is still thirsty and willing to share in a drink! Since I don't know what the morrow will bring it's only proper I give him something tonight!"

"What would you like me to do?" Gotfried said short and to the point as always.

"Take a bottle or two of wine from my supply and have a messenger ferry it over to the Earl of course!" Lady Tempest blurted as it should have been at least a little obvious what she wanted done before that point.

Her captain questioned but polity so, "Is that wise? What if they messenger is taken prisoner or killed".

"I swear Gotfried you don't need to think of every angle just act! With all the letters coming back and forth it seems the messengers are traveling freely tonight. You are dismissed see it done." Sol would return to a letter reading it quickly just before her Captain was about to leave.

"Wait," Lady Tempest shouted, "Also have someone bring me Sir Rob, he is giving me titles in public again he ought not to be."

Gotfried would bow and depart the tent.
Sol Tempest

Roleplay from Sol Tempest
(Personal Message to Qunicy Stormreaver)

A messenger arrives in Earl Stormreaver's camp. He has a letter and two bottle of brilliant amber apple wine. Earl Stormreaver

Enjoy these bottles of wine from my own stash. A gift to make up for the last time we met and no one had any drinks to share with you. Ensure not to get too drunk and miss the coming battle, but do try avoid getting injured during the battle I looked forward to see what kinds of drinks you enjoy.
Sol Tempest

Roleplay from Quincy Stormreaver
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Relaxing and staring up at the stars, Quincy blinks as another messenger arrived. He'd thought everyone was asleep, except for him, of course, sleeping right before a battle never seemed likely for him, too much excitement.

Sitting up, he looks over the messenger carrying a small box and letter, he was escorted by Captain Didinia who looked less than thrilled to still be awake and playing babysitter. Thanking the messenger, Quincy reads the attached card and smiles as she opens the box, much to his captains objections.

"We don't know what's in there", she points out even as Quincy opens it immediately after reading the note.

"It's a gift, it's fine... it's not like it's a vicious pink rabbit with bit sharp teeth that's going to rip my throat out... those kinds of things don't exist", Quincy chuckles as he opens the box to find a bottle of wine, as had been indicated in the note.

"Oh... we certainly need to open this", Quincy announces and pats the ground beside him, indicating Didinia should join him.

It had been a while since Quincy had blatantly hit on his captain and she'd hoped he'd given up, apparently not.

"Is that... wise? We're due on the field in a few hours...", she objects, knowing it wasn't going to keep him from drinking it so she might as well join him so he didn't drink the whole thing alone.

Not answering, simply grinning, Quincy uncorks the bottle and picks up a nearby cup he'd been using earlier. Briefly cleaning it out, he pours some of the new bottle into it and gives it a gentle sniff before taking a swallow.

Didinia settles down beside him, reluctantly, as the Lord seems to start to choke, his hands going quickly to his throat and his eyes going wide. Panicking, Didinia nearly jumps on him, attempting to hit his back and make him spit out the vial poison, only to suddenly hear him laughing from beneath her.

"I knew you wanted to come settle in my lap", he grins, he'd obviously been toying with her and she hits him solidly in the arm as she rolls off, giving him a hot glare. Part of her was now wishing that he HAD been poisoned!

"Come on, now, it's quite good", he points out as he takes another sip and passes her the cup with a mischievous grin.

After that little incident, Didinia needed a drink, it might keep her from killing the noble herself if the Thalmarkin soldiers didn't get to it in the morning.

Roleplay from Rob Storme
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

"Who better to be scolded by then my sweet Lady Sol on the eve of battle hm? Her fire will give me fire enough to win the day in her name tomorrow" The Mountie, a new face as they all were since the slaughter of Tempest's men in the previous battle seemed unamused. He announced Rob shortly at the entrance of Sol's tent and grunted disapprovingly as Rob slipped past him before being given proper permission.

He appeared better groomed then their last meeting as he stood there with his helm clutched at his side, a cut and shave had done served well after returning from Lezzel. Wounds of that time weeks prior now just terrible memories and ugly scars and he stood before her now looking much more like his usual enthusiastic self. As always when he laid eyes on Sol his heart sung praise for her he could not contain, and knowing why he had been summoned Rob knew he had about thirty seconds to butter her up before he got hurt and so started boldly "You will simply have to fine, ban, or execute me as my praise for you cannot be stifled. To ask me not to speak your glory would be that of asking the birds not to sing their songs at dawn, I simply cannot comply."

With that he knelt on the dusty floor of her tent, armor knocking as he did "I throw myself at your mercy, sweet and beautiful Lady Sol Goddess of the Sun, Queen of my heart"
Rob Storme

Roleplay from Sol Tempest
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Sol rolled her eyes while she listened to Rob rant on about her as he usually does any time they have a moment in private. Lady Tempest would sigh before issuing a short simple command, "Rob i'm too tired for this, prepare my bed."

Instantly Rob's eyes alight with inspiration, spouting off how of course she is too tired for such praise, how she works so hard that it is a shame she doesn't have a hundred attendants to ensure her safe and comfortable path into bed each night. The pillows she had already got fluffed meticulously, her blankets shook out and put back in perfect order, he even left momentarily and returned with two huge feather stuffed blankets and as many pillow as he could carry stacked so high a few threatened to fly off as they brushed against the tent on his was in. Layered and stacked, he built her what could only be described as a cozy nest to fall into and only fell silent when it was done; after declaring it the only way a proper Queen should be expected to sleep on the eve of battle.

Lady Tempest inspects her lavishly prepared bed before addressing the enthusiastic knight, "Good work Rob, now get out."

Sir Rob quickly bows then leaves.
Sol Tempest

Roleplay from Rob Storme
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) With his work done, Rob would return to his own tent to finish preparing for the battle. At the end of the day though his bed was bare of all but a thin sheet, the young knights smile lasted long into his sleep.

Letter from Ranulf Godfrey
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Thalmarmkian scum end your countless attempts to humor yourselves. Your days are not infinite. This is war, not drama, act like it. I’ll see you on the battlefield.

Perish from this world,
Ranulf Godfrey

Letter from Francis Elynbrigge
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Thalmarkin,

Knight Ranulf speaks as a true Knight of Nothoi. Of the great City of Reeds. He is a fine Knight that is strong and sharp and will fight for the Glory of his family on the battlefield at dawn. We fight for glory against the tyranny of the continent and to rid the world of the the scourge of Thalmarkin!

For honour and glory,
Francis Elynbrigge

Letter from Do'Urden Sharpspeare
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Duke Urien,

Well, you can add me to your list. I do not take kindly to threatening my fellow nobles. Judge Sol has been nothing but honorable in my experience. And while I do not know Sir Rob in any meaningful way, I would stand with you against you.

Sincerely,
Do'Urden Sharpspeare

Letter from Quincy Stormreaver
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Duke Do'Urden,

Excellent, Duke Urien needs more people to stand with himself against himself, it's his favourite pasttime...
Quincy Stormreaver

Letter from Do'Urden Sharpspeare
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Your Duke's favorite pastime is standing in his own way, Earl Quincy? Fascinating.

Duke Urien, I hope to see you on the battlefield. I do not fear fighting for what I believe. I believe you are the same. Though I would hardly call you infallible except if I was rather into my wine.

Sincerely,
Do'Urden Sharpspeare

(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

To those who promised to stand in my way,

Your beloved Judge was wounded by my hand, you all witnessed the might of Urien Poe today.

This is a testament to my conviction and I implore you to run home and hide because when I come for you their is little you can do but pray your end is swift.

Roleplay from Julian Carson
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Julian enters the healers tent where the Judge was being healed.

"Damn it to hell.... Sir Rob was supposed to protect you. This is what I get for listening to him."

He sits on a crudely made bench waiting to get his arm bandaged.

Letter from Ecko Lamarque
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

True Royalty does not need to brag so much. I will enjoy watching your kingdom fade away into obscurity in my own lifetime.

If I die in battle before this passes, so be it. Your threats do not rattle the North.
Ecko Lamarque

Letter from Alice Schwarzherzig
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) Can you really call yourselves the North if you travelled straight West to get here?
Alice Schwarzherzig

Letter from Ecko Lamarque
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) Yes, we are the North. Your tutors can explain it to you later.
Ecko Lamarque

Letter from Alice Schwarzherzig
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) I mean, you actually travelled Northwest to get here from your capital. I'll send you my tutors, they can explain what a map is, and how to read it.
Alice Schwarzherzig

Letter from Ecko Lamarque
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

We are in the Northern region of the continent. You know, where there's lots of ice? Your childish splitting of hairs is hardly befitting of a noble. How does it feel to realize you cannot subdue Thalmarkin?

Your easy war turned into an unwinnable quagmire very fast.
Ecko Lamarque

Letter from Alice Schwarzherzig
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Bold words for someone who just lost their entire unit.

If you had bothered to look at a map, you would note that Rafferty marks the Northern most point of Thalmarkin. Irondale's Northernmost region is Fianik, which is equally far North as Rafferty. One with an educated upringing could surmise that from a brief glance at a map.
Alice Schwarzherzig

Letter from Ronin Shepherd
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Ecko,

Wake up irondale just spanked you, Irondale is going nowhere and we are winning the war, so i don't know what your blubbering on about
Ronin Shepherd

Letter from Sol Tempest
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) I was only lightly wounded at best so don't know why there is talk that I was taken out but I guess that counts as satisfaction?
Sol Tempest

Letter from Rosko Nabarl
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) Some people need to take their satisfaction quickly and easily and claim that others should be impressed by it...

Ronin Shepherd

Letter from Ecko Lamarque
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

My men died a noble death defending their land. Yours died dishonorable deaths as curs. Yes, there are things slightly more north than Thalmarkin. It is an expression, the title has been around since long before I was born. Have your courier send messages to me directly if you'd like to continue your education by parchment course with me.

Your Obedient Servant,
Ecko Lamarque

Letter from Alice Schwarzherzig
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) Your men died on foreign soil, in a war Thalmarkin started. And just because a saying is old, doesn't mean it isn't wrong, and dumb.

Letter from Ryosuke Guile
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Yet another Carson come to fail in all endeavours?

Whoever forged your wrists of nobility, you should have them applauded. It is truly a talent to take donkey offal and polish it to such a lustre, but I imagine Thalmarkin is full of such talented common folk.

Lady Tempest, well fought! I feel remiss having missed the opportunity to share a drink with you. Perhaps next time?
Ryosuke Guile

Letter from Sol Tempest
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

As a commander of a unit of cavalry more than willing to charge the front lines I fail to see how being able to reach myself on a shared battlefield is some sort of great accomplishment. It should be rather obvious to all that my Kin voicing their support to protect me was more symbolic in nature as I would be charging past them once the the battle began.

Besides I am not so meek of a woman to cower behind the shields of men and let them handle all the fighting on my behalf. No we all stand together equals side by side to fight for what we believe is right. I am glad Duke Do'Urden, Lord Carson and Sir Rob would state so boldly that they would serve to protect me and they have in no way let me down just because I had to cross blades with Duke Poe on the battlefield. I cannot expect them to fight every individual battle on my behalf but knowing they are there, watching my back or protecting our flank is a testament to their claim and will.

I would also extend my condolences for Lord Theodoric. Any man who would give his life for his realm regardless if I agree with the realms actions or not is worthy of praise.

Now about that drink?
Sol Tempest

Letter from Sol Tempest
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Strategos Francis Elynbrigge

Your letter from before the battle is quite disheartening.

Not only have we personally shared battlefields before this war, we also shared them on the same side during this war and again now on opposite sides. I always thought you a most respectable man who understands that there is usually both good and bad within every realm. For you to so label all of Thalmarkin a scourge makes me question that.

Alas you are entitled to your opinion but if you look you will find little tyranny in Thalmarkin especially now as almost the entire council has been replaced since the day's of the Mad King Zatar.

Regards,
Sol Tempest

Letter from Francis Elynbrigge
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Judge Tempest,

I am afraid to say I have not met a Thalmarkin knight or Lord of sound mind, each that has spoken twists the truth that they are somehow not at fault for this war to avoid the responsibility. Start admitting the truth and you will earn my respect. Hegemon Tyran has offered you generous terms and I urge you to use your influence in the government to accept these. As a former knight of Nothoi you should know we fight for justice and honour, and we will defend our ally Irondale for as long as it takes.

Sincerely,
Francis Elynbrigge

Letter from Jheda Orobar
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Well, I laugh at your generous terms. Why don't you come and force them upon us. As that other fool in your court of jesters said, you are winning this war, right? Maybe you should take a closer look at a map. Thalmarkin controls Gemke, this battle took place on your soil. Anyone care to explain how this qualifies as winning? Or why we would even have to consider any terms?

On the way over here I met one of those Irondale farmers romantically involved with his goats. Or maybe it was one of his own daughters. I couldn't tell them apart. Maybe I should have asked him to come up with some ridiculous terms we should force upon you once we defeated you. I'm pretty sure that's how you came up with them.

At your service,
Jheda Orobar

Letter from Ronin Shepherd
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) Actually jedha that was your goat we stole, you must have taken a hit to head one too many times in this war that you started... We took 2 cities of you and 6 regions in total that's how were currently winning the war. Oh i do apologise if the goat we stole was your husband, i'm sure the farmer will give him back to you after they're finished
Ronin Shepherd

Letter from Sol Tempest
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

I like how Irondale takes credit for all our losses when in fact most of them were caused by a single man, Duke Timsen.

Actually its not stretch to say that the Duke caused more damage to Thalmakin than the combined effort of both Irondale and Nothoi as we have retaken some of the losses your combined efforts did manage to inflict but not any that the Duke caused himself.

Regards,
Sol Tempest

Letter from Alice Schwarzherzig
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

I mean it is difficult to match the efficacy in which Thalmarkin damages itself. You would be only down one city had you not violated the borders of VS.

The fact remains, by any metric, Thalmarkin is losing, and that is not going to change.
Alice Schwarzherzig

Letter from Jheda Orobar
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) I guess, as long as we don't lose our heads, we'll be fine.

It's how far we all fall in our scramble to survive, may we all find solace in our darkness.

Roleplay from Julian Carson
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

When Julian received the orders to retreat his infuriating anger took over and practically destroyed everything in his tent.

"THOSE FOOLS AT COMMAND WHAT ARE THEY THINKING!!!!!! WE COULD HAVE HELD IF WE HAD SIMPLY ADJUSTED OUR LINES!!!!!!"

He continues with his rant when his Captain walked in.

"Umm sir, the men have finished packing."

"GET OUT NOW!!!!!"

As a chair flew over his Captains head. The Captain ran away from the tent.
Julian Carson

Letter from Rossyth deLacy
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor) Congratulations on defending your lands, I see you are also capable of throwing a welcome party, delayed a little but still within reasonable time. On the subject of Timsen, well he did damage Thalmarkin quite a bit, but then you should be familiar with that sort of thing. After all he didn't just damage Grekhia, he killed it. It was our mistake not learning from that and having him carefully disposed of before he could repeat the process, the only saving grace being that Thalmarkin is somewhat more resilient than Grekhia was.
Rossyth deLacy

Letter from Ryosuke Guile
(Message sent to everyone in Ffangor)

Hi, Phillip!

It is a pleasure to meet a kinsman of the famed Angela! Her passing was the end of an era, regardless of if one condemns her or embraced her. Her absence is felt.

A toast to the dead seems fitting. Perhaps Lord Quincy and the Good Duke Urien would be so keen as to join?

My field tent is not hard to find, and so long as the battle isn’t happening directly I see no reason why we shouldn’t all intermingle a bit.

Head for the sable and emerald silk tent with the golden fox heads posted on the corners. Don’t mind the opal eyes, they aren’t really following you.
