Evil Wizard

Make note that this strange wizard Bannable is from the fictional Kingdom of Earth. "Our greatest astrologers and theologians have already come to the conclusion that this 'Earth' is merely a fallacy made up by parents to scare their children into kicking the peasants harder and going to church more often. Though such endeavours are well supported amongst intellectual circles, the fact remains that it is a fantasy place." --Aerywyn 11:47, 30 September 2010 (CEST)

FWIW, I also think that linking to an OOC discussion (a talk page) from an IC announcement is a little odd. -- Corwyn 17:02, 30 September 2010 (CEST)

Edits

1. You didn't create this paper, I think it's hardly your place to say how people should edit it.
2. You don't sign your articles yourself, why should anyone else?
3. You don't put other characters names on articles, only their players do.

I own my paper now. I don't sign my own articles because I am the editor and my name is on the front page. --Slaymaster 19:44, 30 September 2010 (CEST)

And how exactly do you own it? Did you buy it from the previous owner? Or did you just slap your name on the front page and declare it's yours now? You're free to launch your own newspaper and run it however you want, but you should get at least permission to take over other people's work. -Capet

I own it because the whole page was made by me and written by me. The only thing I used was a previous newspaper title name. --Slaymaster 19:51, 30 September 2010 (CEST)

No, you didn't. You took the previous owner's names off and put your own up. You used their pages to add your own issues. You only changed the name just now, so your ownership argument doesn't hold ground either. -Capet

No. Sorry, you are wrong again. Take a look at the old Elven Tribune. Their paper totally different to my one. I told you made the page myself and the only thing I did was to use the name The Elven Tribune. Really, check before post. --Slaymaster 20:10, 30 September 2010 (CEST)

This is ridiculous. There is no reason that Slaymaster cannot take control of a newspaper that has been defunct for three years. Can we stop being wiki-nazis about something that exists purely for entertainment purposes. I do not see how it is within anyone's place to complain about something that they have never owned nor have any control over. If the original author has a problem with Slaymaster taking control of the paper let them come forward and say so, otherwise I see no reason for Slaymaster to have to make a second newspaper when the first one is continuing to exist without use. If I had been the previous author I would be grateful to Slaymaster for continuing an endeavor I had long since abandoned and to bring attention to a work I had envisioned coming into being but had put little to know effort in creating. While I think a simple credit to the original authors is well in line, Slaymaster has contributed ten times the amount of content that the original authors have contributed and IMO that makes it his to do with as he pleases.
