I moved this from taxes. Should the manual include examples? -- Nicholas July 18, 2005 23:27 (CEST)

I am strongly in favor of using examples as often as possible. I think that things like taxes, line settings, and food production will all need examples in order to be clear to the players. Even when the subject seems clear, they're useful for getting everyone on the same page (so to speak) -- Dolohov 18 July 2005 23:30 (CEST)

Yes, examples are good. Just remember to put them in a proper category (Examples, not Example, at least IMHO) and that you can't make an "Example:" namespace. --Tom 19 July 2005 17:57 (CEST)

All of the naming is my fault, I moved it from the article on taxes because I felt that it was a little too overwhelming all in one article. It really is a stylistic question, but I think that long examples should have their own category and be on their own page becuase not everyone will want to read through an example. I do agree that the category should be Examples, I'll change that. -- Nicholas July 19, 2005 18:18 (CEST)
