The End of Oligarch

I wish I'd been available when you researched the end of Oligarch. I was the last Prime Minister, and was heavily involved in those events. If you're still active and interested, drop me a line, and we can work on compiling some more history. Vellos 21:42, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Caligus is fighting Perdan because of the Ibladesh Itorunt war.

These are incorrect informations.

"Itorunt could beat Ibladesh one on one."

First, although Itorunt was vastly superior in land and gold than Ibladesh they were beaten badly and continued to be beaten badly by a much smaller Ibladesh, until a point when Itorunt was so desperate that they summoned an ally to fight for them. Caligus came and together they've beaten Ibladesh to but a few regions. After that the surrender terms were negotiated, but Itorunt, so ignorant in their greed, wanted too much and refused reasonable terms (they would've been given the Duchy of Al Arab). Caligus, annoyed by their unreasonable allies, then pulled out of the war and Ibladesh managed to regain the upper hand again, crushing the 'runts all over the south.

"Caligus started giving subtle, then not-so-subtle aid to Ibladesh. Whilst Perdan abided by a treaty to remain uninvolved."

At that point Caligus-Itorunt relations were highly worsened, mostly by some really bad Itorunt rulers, which eventually led to Caligus-Ibladesh alliance. The succession of their royal line did not bring anything more than several Jester Rulers who have done little to save their realm, and hence Itorunt died. If it had a decent Monarch in the last 6 months of their existence Itorunt would probably be alive today. Perdan could've saved Itorunt, but they refused to do so. King Sangue of Perdan made quite a few bad moves before his abdication, and that is exactly what Perdan is now suffering for. --Dagoriad 13:40, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
