We attacked them? In TROYES? Well, good thing it said "Attacker Victory" then, eh? So I guess we didn't lose? That's swell. Hynes 03:31, 5 May 2006 (CEST)

Please, Sign your comments. Besides, I wrote that in a hurry. You can tell because theres little mention of the other victories. Besides, I didn't mention that it was Troyes... there are other victories from the Northern realms. But if you prefer to think about Troyes, I have changed the wordibng to reflect it. Happy? --The1exile 23:49, 4 May 2006 (CEST)

Caligus and Perdan lose! and then turn around and beat Yssuckia twice in a row!

And then the general of Caligus doesn't come back to life! And you still aren't signing your comments! --The1exile 14:53, 6 May 2006 (CEST)

Given their recent performance, Yssaria probably did them a favor. They had to have been doing something wrong to lose against smaller forces on such a consistent basis. - Thray Walsh

Oh I know... but this was apparently one of Caligus' better generals. I didn't believe it either... --The1exile 11:20, 7 May 2006 (CEST)

Ooo, and then they won a battle in Supra. Seems they aren't doing so bad after all, hrm? Hynes 15:05, 7 May 2006 (CEST)

One battle won does not change the fact that Caligus is getting their butts kicked. --The1exile 17:30, 8 May 2006 (CEST)

Actually, it was three. Hynes 20:55, 8 May 2006 (CEST)

Fact: Yssaria is still twice as large, currently, as Caligus. Caligus has 2 badlands, a rural, a mountain and a city region, Yssaria has two cities and a load of other regions. It doesn't take a genius to see who's winning. Plus, Caligus lost their general. --The1exile 21:33, 8 May 2006 (CEST)

You and Ibladesh currently have four more regions than Perdan, and we beat you 95% of the time.Hynes 22:31, 8 May 2006 (CEST)

Perdan has an army of ~70K CS in mobile... and a shorter cycle time... and Ubent... Oh yes, Ubent! that would be another 5 regions or so for you! --The1exile 22:42, 8 May 2006 (CEST)

Tournament

Tis a great idea for hopefully we can all find common ground. And hopefully LoF will remain nuetral. - Aurum Bishamon Family 17:43, 9 May 2006 (CEST)

I knew writing with a trader would never work out... Seriously, I need to know when the last tournament was held on EC. I know there hasn't been one in over 6 months. That's an insane idea.

Aurum, keep up the good work with being peaceful. It doesn't hurt that the paper isn't all about winning... which we'll still do anyway, of course. --The1exile 19:02, 9 May 2006 (CEST)

The last Tourney on the EC I remember was when I started out as a noob, which was about 1.5 years ago. (I think) ScottSabin 19:24, 9 May 2006 (CEST)

I tried asking Ryndhal, he said "I can't remember". That's how long ago it must have been. He's been around something like 4 years. --The1exile 19:32, 9 May 2006 (CEST)

The last tournament was held by Ubent I believe, after the rebellion that threw Scyld out. It was sometime around October 2005 maybe. --Neoro 19:57, 9 May 2006 (CEST)

If you think that the tournament is "stupid idea" set up by "some idiot", then why are you going? Personally, I think it's a great idea. Maybe if we can more things like this going, we can bring some of these endless wars to a close. Three cheers for Lycastus! --Indirik 22:17, 9 May 2006 (CEST)

Ahahaha, if LoF remains neutral, just think of all the tournaments! --Kag 23:13, 9 May 2006 (CEST)

Duh, someone has to report on it, and Aurum is a trader, and so he can't go, and I didn't bother asking. Besides, I like stupid ideas! --The1exile 23:23, 9 May 2006 (CEST)

OR Press

Hey, editors of the paper. Mind if you get in touch with me. We might have to write up a little bit of a rivalry to the OCPAU. We could really get this going here. Well, lets just get in touch somehow. leave me a message on the press if you are interested in getting something together. --Unigeris 04:10, 13 May 2006 (CEST)

Glad to hear that you are interested. Care to talk via emial? My email is duthane2000@yahoo.co.uk

Just send me something there with ideas for our own journalistic papers and laws. Anything you can think of. We can really get something going here. --Unigeris 04:10, 13 May 2006 (CEST)

The Battle of Zawr

The commander of Perdan can boast all he wants. The assault on Zawr was more successful than he would admit. Given the casualty reports I have seen, we gave nearly as good as we got. The Itoruntian and Ibladeshian armies had an impact on the field out of all proportion to their numbers and if things are happening as they should a second wave is on it's way. I must assume much, as I am not able to communicate very much due to my injuries, but it is not an illogical assumption. The Perdanse managed a transient victory, but what Blacknight doesn't seem to realize is that not only does it take more than courage and determination to win a battle, it takes more than victory in a single battle to achieve success in the long-term campaign. The Itoruntian and Ibladeshian commanders understand this, which is why the assault went forward despite the disadvantage we were in. This is far from a complete faiure for our armies. - Thray Walsh

OOC: How's that for spin, huh? :p - Thray

You might want to check those casualty reports again, friend. "If things are happenin as they should the second wave is on its way." If needlessly wasiting the lives of your realm is a long-term strategy, you should seriously consider some changes in how you think. You are right in one thing though, it takes more then a single battle to achieve success in a long-term plan. It will take more then two also, but thats why I plan for long-term campaigns that don't involve suicidal armies. Honestly though, I'm not complaining. I'm perfectly comfortable with the way you fight. --Blackknight 06:24, 21 May 2006 (CEST)

You know, Blackknight, given your investment in Infantry as the army, I don't think you can talk about "wasting lives". We've all seen the huge waves of Perdanese soldiers fall against Itorunts archers, primarily in Al Aquabah.

I would assume your "planning" consists of declaring war ASAP, sneak attacking and then when you start to lose pleading for peace? --The1exile 10:52, 21 May 2006 (CEST)

Firstly I would like to point out that Yssaria has had more money and military than Caligus for a considerable ammount of time, indeed the only things Caligus has traditionally been richer in is food supply. From the start of the war they have only gained Aureus(Supra was theirs) And they only got past the militia defenses of Supra with help from their friends. Perdan haad every right to declare war on Itorunt, How long have the two realms been fighting?? Ever since Ibladesh betrayed Perdan. Ibladesh turned against the SA and helped Itorunt and Yssaria take Xavax, Igno, Tota, Liebo and the recently reaquired Isadril Mines. I will now proceed to manure my garden with this rag. Good Day. Lumberjack 11:42, 23 May 2006 (CET)

Yeah... and I would like to point out that Caligus was the bully that declared war on Yssaria when they were a small realm. Now that they are losing, look who wants to bail out and say "yeah but they have more gold". Thats how stupid you are then, to declare war on them when "they have more gold". The considerable anmount of time you would be talking about is since Yssaria started winning again. --The1exile 14:41, 23 May 2006 (CEST)

Perhaps you failed to understand... Caligus declared war to help ubent. Ubent and Caligus vs Yssaria would have been a much fairer war unless ubent were forced to pull back. We will see which way the war goes now that Ubent have re-entered the fold. Lumberjack 13:47, 25 May 2006 (CET)

Thray, I know you stop by here every so often, and any other Itoruntians, watch the fool not noticing that Ubent and Caligus vs. Yssaria is still getting Yssaria to win now. Plus, consult todays messages to see why he's such a fool.

Lumberjack, you ever notice who Ubent declared war upon before? Lets see how the war goes when Itorunt actually get's around to help Yssaria, shall we? --The1exile 17:19, 25 May 2006 (CEST)

It's true. Ubent is that little brother that keeps picking fights, all the while expecting his older siblings to do all the fighting for him. Ubent has a grand total of 8000cs in mobile forces on a good day, they can barely fight one war even with Perdan consistently sending over 15000cs in aid. Ubent will not be sending meaningful forces to help Caligus unless they want to return home to find a nation consisting of a single stronghold region, if that. Yssaria will hardly even notice the pathetic Ubent army. - Thray Walsh

Damm, are the nimwits still fighting eachother on the East Continent, lucky for me I left that hell hole, btw I'm a old PMW noble and a old battlegroup leader of the PSF. If you guys want to interview me I'm all open. User talk:Laurens Schreuders

Nimwit? I prefer the term meathead, thank you very much. - Thray
