Talk:Itorunt Informer/June '06

Please don't start attacking people OOC. I've seen some comments that could be seen ambiguously either way - it's okay if you're in-character whining about the clear bias in the Itorunt Informer, another if you get into an OOC argument about it. If you can't hang your character at the door, don't make any comment. DorianGray 18:48, 23 June 2006 (CEST)

--Twinblade 18:35, 9 June 2006 (CEST)That was a great edit to your High Marshall's speech.Hynes 04:24, 5 June 2006 (CEST)

Lucian editted his own quote. While I don't support editting quotes, I won't fret it because it is his own quote and it doesn't change his stance on anything. - Aurum Bishamon Family 04:57, 5 June 2006 (CEST)

Except it goes from making him sound like a overgrown child to a noble soldier doing the right thing in the name of mom, god and doughnuts. Besides that, yeah, it doesn't change anything. Hynes 05:34, 5 June 2006 (CEST)

Hey Hynes, you should be thankful I copy the orders here. Most realms don't leak that much info. Besides, I'll just rewrite the article and quote Lucian when he did say that instead, if you prefer.

And Kamekaze, you should know Ubent suck.--The1exile 18:39, 5 June 2006 (CEST)

Lumberjack/Kamekaze has removed his comment. I hope there is a good reason... but bear that in mind if you think my comment get confusing. --The1exile 19:50, 6 June 2006 (CEST)

Actually Alex, if you dig up some of the old issues, youll find that we were marking our articles first. And wow, you must be pretty desperate to brag about a 16k vs. 4k battle victory. --Twinblade 17:38, 9 June 2006 (CEST)

Twinblade you fool. That was a 16K vs 4K victory in CASTLE UBENT. Guess what that means. Ubents capital was resoundingly crushed, and it shows how pathetic Ubent is. --The1exile 17:49, 9 June 2006 (CEST)

Here, let me try wringing an article like you since you believe im copying you in some way.

Sign your comments Talless. And I don't know what in Baator you think by saying you signed each article first. That is blatantly Aurums idea. Plagiarist. --The1exile 19:22, 9 June 2006 (CEST)

It's an idea to use indenting and the '+' available to add new comment sections instead of this run-off. And I did change my quote, because I thought the original one leaked too much information. I'm sure that some people can seperate the IC/OOC, but given the size of the realms at war, I figured someone was going to slip - better to be safe. DorianGray 18:48, 23 June 2006 (CEST)

You just violated IJARG again Alex. And get this strait, thats a record ever since we lost our regions Mashhad and Hamadan, the entire reason why we are in this war. And we attacked a second time in an attempt to stop the TO. But if your going to keep talkin smack, im going to start getting battle reports from Perdan with every Itorunt defeat, which i hear is VERY common down south....--Twinblade 15:35, 17 June 2006 (CEST)

Ok, fine, I'll remove the article. It wasn't supposed to violate IJARG. It was however supposed to laugh at the Caligan ineptness, using your paper as a source.

However, I will replace it very soon with an article from the Yssarians as to your plight, and then we'll see. --The1exile 15:58, 17 June 2006 (CEST)

The IJARG and their agreements are a mere farce that attempt to lend some small measure of credibility to the the Itorunt (mis)Informer. It should be obvious by now that Alex is incapable of writing an article that is not full of insults, half-truths, evasions, and/or outright lies. Alex should just get it over with and change his name to Tokyo Rose.
Twinblade: If you want copies of all the battle reports where Itorunt loses, just let me know. I'd be happy to start feeding them to you. --Indirik 18:06, 17 June 2006 (CEST)
Indirik (OOC: Sorry, but I don't know your char names), The IJARG was an agreement signed by all the papers to prevent the journalism wars from deteriorating into mere abuse at each others papers. You cannot say that we propagandise, when the CC boasts of catching stragglers. Certainly I do not publish any article devoted purely to the glorification of catching lazy nobles. Whether Perdan or Itorunt does, it doesn't go here.
Please point out places where I have put down an outright lie. And as a general rule, in the large battles, Itorunt does win. (OOC: The main battle I know that you will point to is Zawr, but I had RL issues that prevented me from writing a lot, or well, for a while. So I didn't write anything at that time.) --The1exile 18:35, 17 June 2006 (CEST)

I say let them post battle reports of our defeats and continue to post theirs. We'll see who is embarassed the more. Of course, that would mean a whole lot more articles for you to write. - Thray Walsh

I like your article, Thray, keep up the good work. Ah, creative reporting is so much fun. --Ichigo, Kurosaki Family 05:41, 22 June 2006 (CEST)

OR maybe you should all realise that papers never win the war. ;) Marouane 17:34, 22 June 2006 (CEST)

Yep. But these journalists do. I myself am in a position to TO a region on a whim right now, and could easily order the Div to assist me. We just have fun writing the stuff, and hope others have fun reading it. I certainly liked Thray's article.

Unless of course, you refer to the journalistic wars, in which case, it's true, papers don't win any more, because we already soundly whipped the OO and CC. Don't count Perdan.

(OOC: Hey, it's about the fun and the fact that I have to write original writing anyways in school :) --The1exile 18:13, 22 June 2006 (CEST)

If you've got a problem with how a realm handles their newspaper, make it an issue in your own paper. Point out the clear bias and ineptness of Itorunt journalists in the Perdan paper. Don't sit and get into a fight over it, especially on the discussion page which only a fraction of the II readers will read, and II isn't exactly a 'big' paper. DorianGray 18:48, 23 June 2006 (CEST)
