Why Hades Had To Die

The reason I decided to cancel Hades was because I could not think of anything exciting to do with him anymore. Hades was great fun to play, I even gave him a family, but he already hit the top of his career. Hades had always been the middle ground of my characters. He was the middle of both extremes on the spectrum. Armstrong is the Hero who lives with ideals and principles, and Bowie is the Villain who lives for himself. So I built Hades as a theologian and family man.

He had his moments. He was responsible for bringing the religion the Way of the Warrior Saints to Minas Ithil. He built two temples(one in Dunstoke and Rotherthorpe) and converted a total of three nobles, one was later executed. And he was especially proud of being permitted to preach in the city of Leohampton, and he was proud of his title: Archon Major. He had a preaching circuit that ran from Cheltenbourne, Winham, Dunstoke, Rotherthorpe and ended in Leohampton. He was always the B list character, though, and lately he slipped down to C and then D. Inevitably he became just a routine of button clicking. I don’t have a story line for him, and I don’t want to hold his weight anymore.

So that is why Hades had to die. D.west.ton 19:53, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
