Talk:Hasland

When I get some time, I'll try and write this. I can't remember hardly any of the names. I remember Kodak, Doc's Biatch, Capt. Nemo, what are the others? (It was three years ago mind you). Well A general sketch is that Hasland was essentially what Minas Ithil is right now. York was the capital, and it was one of the first to form its own internal hierarchy (literally before the hierarchy system I created it to manage the sheer size of the realm, it also added a nice RP flavor). Well needless to say we grew, so much so that the realm was literally being torn apart by the game code (We'd essentially reached the you can't win anymore point, without any assistance from any allies. At that point to merely survive we had to split the realm. Thus the protecterate was formed. (Norland, Southasland). Well needless to say this didn't go entirely according to plan. Southasland was immediately besieged by CE. In the north we'd been fighting Icegate (makar had been formed at this point (ice gate had sceded two realms barony of sale, and barony of makar)). Well Eston and Darka (we'd literally spared Eston complete destruction (this being Falasan and Hasland)) didn't seem to take kindly to the fact that they weren't the ones growing and so they declared war in the north. Hasland was effectively beign assualted by realms with double the income and on two separate fronts. Defensive wars are always easier, and so Norland was spun off earlier than planned. For whatever reasons Capt. Nemo paused. Ragno came to power after a time in Norland and conspired with Eston/Darka to attack Hasland and break the protectorate. BoM who had signed a treaty of non-aggression broke it and attacked Hasland. Southampton was turned over to Southasland just before this occured so they were on fairly good footing to fight a strong defensive war. Now, the realm of Tuchannon had been surrendered to Hasland and the king Pit Viper(?) was put in charge of leohampton. Well when norland declared war he saw it as his chance to form tuchannon 2. Well this left hasland once a realm of four major cities and at its height 6 and a stronghold down to 1. It fought off the overwhelming odds for a good four to five months but eventually it lost. Boeth Relak fought his last fight and left.

Ironically enough his words have had an ironic turn as he basically told everyone that the betrayls would eventually find their own betrayers and he was eerily right. Of course nobody will listen to his old rantings by now. Wow long talk edit. If someone wants to clean this up it might turn into the real history Loren 15 March 2006 10:56 (CET)

Not sure if that was how it went down. If i recall, Tuchanon II came up before Norland switched sides...because when DBP left Hasland for new Lands, she didn't leave a Hasland that was virtually at war with everyone. She left Hasland's troops occupying Tuchanon II, and figured she had served her duty and was ready to go elsewhere...had she known that Hasland was going to get raped, DBP would have stayed. I'm almost positive that Norland declared war first. You're right that we occupied the city, but we couldn't effectively take it over. The old smash and squat strategy didn't work without all the golds. Loren 16 March 2006 01:03 (CET)
