I don't think there has been an offical ruling, but can we agree to use Abington/Region syntax on these pages? AlexTurner 24 October 2005 01:35 (CEST)

Currently on the talk page they are [[Realm]] and [[Island/Region]]. -- mcsporran 24 October 2005 01:56 (CEST)

Historical confusion

As an outsider I was just reading the history detailed of Abington and there seems to be some confusion between the Abington Account/September2007 and Abington realm page. The realm page suggests that Abington was destroyed due to the lack of removal of the insane king Gauihu following a number of sucessions. However in the Abington Account it clearly states that there were two rebellions the first one failing and the second suceeding with Xuanye leading Abington as a new Republic. It would be great if somebody could connect the two together and explain how Abington fell during Xuanye's tenure and why the sucessions happened. -- Mathros

The Abington Account is correct as far as the timeline of secessions and rebellions. The decision to destroy Abington was also, in large part, made due to the presence of Gauihu and the actions he took as Arch Priest and as King, so that is also correct. The new Republic was very short-lived, probably because Abington's enemies' memories were not so short-lived, if you get my meaning. (He'd done a LOT of damage! They weren't willing to tolerate any sort of "Abington" at all at that point, republic or no, even if Gauihu personally was no longer involved.) I'll try cleaning up the realm page a bit to make this clearer. It's a pretty convoluted history. Daycryn Family
