Origin
The Valour of the Marsh was created when Defterdar Katan Anthas was repeatedly insulted by Marshal Vanya Bluelake of the Iron Wolves of Asena and told that his duties as Defterdar were below her own. Katan had appointed himself as Marshal temporarily with Alberto as his lieutenant, waiting for Alberto to become part of the Divan-i Harp and feel confident enough to take on the role. Now that it is established, however, it boasts several high ranking officials, including 3 Councilors and an additional Countess.
Charter
As a member of the Valour of the Marshes army you will be expected to:
- Comply with all the orders issued by the Marshal or Lieutenant
- Your loyalty is first and foremost to your Liege, above the army
- Provide the leadership of the army with scout reports
- Your input on any issue concerning the army is welcome and will be taken into account
- Inform the Marshal or Lieutenant if you are encountering any difficulties (i.e. can't log on for a period of time, unit issues, etc)
- Look out for your Brothers and Sisters in arms
Concerning your unit
- You are expected to have at least 2 scouts and 1 healer, other Paraphernalia is optional. (Siege equipment with be dealt when the situation requires)
- Be able to support your unit most of the time, although in certain cases requesting gold may be necessary.
- Train your unit to be the best unit they can be
- Comply with all unit setting issued to our army
- Fight with honour and integrity, may we we be made famous for our discipline and valour on the battle field
