Posted: 2007-06-11 19:30:26Fair Warning about Undead Language There are several translations of what the undead/monsters are saying on East Island and Atamara.
All those translations are wrong. Yes, I used enochian fragments to make up the messages, mostly because I didn't have time to invent a whole language. No, the messages are not intended to mean what the enochian-to-english translation spits out. There is information in those fragments, but you can not get it by translating the words. I'll use actual garbage words in future messages.

Posted: 2007-06-11 15:00:59Combatstrength for Undead There were a few complaints that the undead seem stronger than their CS indicates. Therefore, CS calculations have been raised about 25% for undead only. This does not, I repeat: not mean they have actually been made stronger, the displayed CS is merely a better indication of actual strength now.
Nevertheless, you should remember that CS is only an indicator. Just like the power of, say, archers or cavalry depends a lot on the circumstances, so do those of the undead and monsters. Against any enemy, you can find a right combination of troop types and settings to beat him with much less CS than he has. Or lose even though you have superior CS due to bad combinations of troops and settings.
