Smallsheep Family

The Smallsheep Family claims to be as old as the land itself. They can certainly trace their ancestors back through dozens of generations of Rogeshore farmers, as a family they predate all of the realms that regularly via for control of Rogeshore (while that sounds impressive what it really means is that members of the Smallsheep family have been farming the same patches for a scarily long time).

The family was admitted into the lower nobility, when the land where unified into larger realms, simply by owning land and being too much bother to destroy. The family then sat happily in obscurity for many generations managing farming and turning out an unobtrusive profit, but about a generation ago Ismail Smallsheep the unofficial patriarch of the family was (to hear my aunt tell it) corrupted by the decadency of the city, and thus he took up a life of gambling, debauchery and most shocking grandiose amateur dramatics. This left the family almost destitute luckily (for the family at least) a prolonged period of war broke out, driving the price of food sky high, and through this and some mostly legal arms speculation deals the family managed to recover it's wealth and make enough extra money to send some members into the service of the realm.

Thus Gibberish and Ash Smallsheep the children of Ismail and his lovely wife where sent off to serve the Ash Sea Islands, (where Ash still serves today). Later other Family members, including myself, where sent off to proudly serve on the East Continent realm of Itorunt.
