The Armies of Sirion

Day 4

Sirion's general sets the strategy for the next month or so, and then the armies execute that plan.

Sponsors for an army are the people that founded the army. Sponsors pick the Marshall and the Second-In-Command (SIC) of that army. Sponsors also put gold in the war chest to help with repairs and training etc. Usually, armies are sponsored by Dukes. (If the realm roleplayed more, then the sponsors would have more significance in founding armies etc).

Marshalls run the day-to-day tactics of an army: move here, dig in there, use these settings.

Sirion has five armies, each with a specific task. The first three accept warriors like you.


Sirion Scarlet Hunters (SSH)

The SSH is our regional maintenance army to fight off monsters and undead to keep Sirion safe and secure for everybody.

Army of Sirion (AoS)

The AOS is our main external army that travel outside our realm to fight against other realms.

Silver Legion (SL)

Previously called the Glinmar Light Riders, the Silver Legion is an external fighting army that consist of a quick moving force of some twenty knights. It attempts raids when possible, or fights with the main armies.

Red Dragons (RD)

The Red Dragons is an external fighting army and considered to be Sirion's elite army. What defines them is the degree of commitment required to qualify.

Knights can only get into the RD if specifically requested by its Marshal and would have to show commitment in the other armies before been considered.
