The following commemorates the death of Count Seadak Cullom.

Absalom Azimuth

Dear Lord Klietos,

Sirion mourns one of its heroes, but you grieve for kin, and that is a lot harder. Sir Seadak could have grown old while serving Hillmar, and nobody would have thought any the worse of him. He chose for a life of heroism and battle. Such lives are often cut short, but I don't think he would have wanted it any other way.

I imagine you must be recriminating yourself: I should have kept him out of harm's way. I should have counseled restraint. I should have tied him to a chair, so that he could not ride off to Dale and meet Death. Do not torture yourself this way. We all meet Death, sooner or later. May we all do it as well as Sir Seadak!

I wish you fortitude.

Absalom Azimuth, Prime Minister of Sirion, Marshal of the Sirion Scarlet Hunters

Dabrun Mowbray

The Prime Minister has put it far better than I could ever hope to do, and I shall not attempt to follow him with my clumsy words except to say that the death of Count Seadak is a great loss for us all. I know that by following the same path as he, I will one day meet his fate on the field of battle.

But so be it.

If the Grim Reaper waits for me, I see no reason to keep him waiting. I shall give my life gladly, as Count Seadak has, if this means ensuring the freedom of Sirion and the destruction of those wish to see us all in shackles. Let us wreak havoc unto our foes, and drive Death into their ranks to collect what remains! Let us fight, brothers and sisters, for the memory of our comrades lost in this bloody war, and for the glory of the Republic!

Dabrun Mowbray (Knight of Hillmar)

Ecthelion Tezokian

Lord Seadek was an extremely brave and loyal subject. Clear from his death, he would often sacrifice his personal safety and well-being for the good of Sirion and for his region of Hillmar. I could not have asked for a better Lord, and feel it was taken away from us too early. I'm sure even now he's fighting his own body to rejoin the fight.

This will not be the last time Dale runs with blood, except next time it will be that of Sultanate of Asena's blood, not ours.

Sir Ecthelion Tezokian, Duke of Sirion

Shaitan Marsh

This very morning we suffered a tremendous loss. We will surely miss our dear Count Seadak. He was a hero, of the bravest kind, and as such he will be remembered. His dedication towards our nation, and his own region are without doubt, and his courage in the battlefield was an inspiration for us all.

Farewell Seadak Cullom! Long live Sirion!

Shaitan Marsh, Marshal of the Glinmar Light Raiders

Romul Galmel

Indeed Seadak was a brave and loyal noble, another one paying the highest cost of war.His continuity and sense of self-sacrifice earned him the realm's favor and his death will weaken us greatly.

Dale is another burial ground, and the enemy keeps coming for those most dear to us.We have to start battering this minions of hell down, before they take another one of our brothers.

Romul Galmel (Royal)

Marion Mercury

Rest in peace Seadak! Your song will be singing to keep your memory alive!

...And the blood of our enemys will pay the cost of our Broms and our Seadaks life... That, is a promes.

Marion Mercury (Dame of Glinmar)

Meristenzio Peristaltico

I had the pleasure to have Count Seadak him as one of my first knights when he began his career and since then he fought without hesitation our enemies, showing loyalty to Sirion and devotion to our cause.

It is indeed a sad day this one when we lost him, but he fell as he lived, fighting. We will honor him like all those who fall in battle against the enemy.

Sir Meristenzio Peristaltico, Count of Lissambar

Corwyn Ni'Tessine

I am truly saddened to hear of the loss of Count Seadak Cullom. He was a man of tireless devotion. I first got to know him during a raid we did together (along with Sir Atanamir) into Fontan lands, and it was during that raid that we encountered adversity but ultimately prevailed. That adversity brought the three of us together, and we committed to being blood brothers from them on.

Count Seadak will also be remembered for his fighting force, his Valkyries. Never have I seen such a force with such high training and aptitude.

Farewell Count Seadak, may we see each other again under Elune's grace!

Corwyn Ni'Tessine, Marshal of the Army of Sirion

Atanamir of Umbar

The death of Count Seadak is truely a sad story. I will never forget our common raid as well. He aimed always for perfection with his unit and was a proud man.

I salute him and wish that he drinks and feasts now with his ancestors in the eternal halls of Mandos.

Sir Atanamir of Umbar, General of Sirion, Count of Ustimbar
