Master Andric

Life

Master Andric is the rarely metioned bastard son of Blaeric, and is seen as somewhat of an embarrassment to the House. The origins of his birth are sketchy at best: Before Blaeric departed for the South West returned from a long campaign against the rogue viking clans with an infant son in swaddling clothes. It is suspected Andric's mother was a camp follower Blaeric took into his bed during the campaign, and was likely killed during battle. Though raised on the family estates, Andric was hardly a part of the family itself.

Andric is four years younger than Lady Alaina, and due to the secret nature of their childhood the two were very close growing up. For the most part, Alaina was the only one to warm to the bastard child. Though technically a nephew to Lord Mordoc, Andric has only cold, vague memories of him as he had long since left the estates when he entered childhood. Feldric was less cold to the young boy, but often ignored the bastard when he was not with his daughter.

Often left out of family recepetions, Andric soon grew an affinity for the tavern life, and has become a notorious night hawk. He can often be found in a local pub or inn dicing and drinking with the common soldiers, or dandling a local girl on his knee.

After the death of Lord Feldric and Alaina's subsequent departure, Andric fell even more into his bad habits, and was eventually kindly asked to leave the estates in search of his own pursuits, though his departure was not altogether cold. With the mysterious dissapearance of Alaina, Andric has taken it upon himself to search out his childhood friend and cousin and find what has become of her. His ambitions also include making a name for himself in his own right, and gaining the respect of the family. Though, admittedly, his tavern crawling has made a poor start of it.

Disappearance

Little is known of what became of Master Andric. Shortly after his 24th birthday Andric disappeared from wandering the Far East. It is rumoured that before his disappearance he learned that his cousin Alaina had not died in a duel with King Valius, as was rumoured, but was merely badly wounded. From this it seems he discovered that she departed the continent, possible for the war-torn South East Islands or perhaps the colonies. However before he pursued this his friends say he recieved a rare letter from his father in the New World, and vanished not soon after. By all accounts this message seems to have arrived sometime in the first month of Belauterra's Third Invasion, and it is assumed that his father called him thence. However no records have been found of his arrival on the continent. He is currently presumed dead, perhaps lost at sea, and is largely unmourned by the family.
