The Great Plague of Aquilegia
Much of Aquilegia was devastated by a terrible plague that was supposedly caused by the witchcraft of the Twinblades and their supporters. The strange thing about this is that the people who suffered the most were the Twinblades and their very supporters. After the plague died down, the realm was thrown into tumult after Aquilegia was left without 8 nobles.
The realm has now made a near complete recovery and has elected new members to the positions held by the Twinblades.
