Sacred Armour

After searching the area for 1 hours, following trails and noises, you finally encounter a small horde of monsters. You notice that they have a leader, an alpha monster, a really big and ugly one, whatever you want to call it. The battle rages, you against the monsters. Your blows land true and you strike most of them down, while a few manage to flee. The big one is the last to fall, but after an exhausting fight you manage to take him down, too. In the lair of the big one, you find treasures worth a total of 3 gold, 5 silver. You also find a unique item among the loot, the "Sacred Armour".

You can trade unique items to nobles, in exchange for gold and maybe for letters of recommendation - you will need recommendations in order to become a noble yourself.

You can now search for the next larger group of monsters.

A Noble Who Wants

Hail.. Ice strom!.

Aye Adventurers, just call me 'Hunter' or what ever you like. But "Sir" to my title is a must, as I am a hero you know..of a noble stature.

I have very narrow idea of what you are doing, simple terms might say you go on adventuring. Killing beasts out of their brains, the dead who rose for bit of fresh air just get whacked out to dust and bones and so on like that...

Interested I am not in those, but in items which I can wield for as preference and use it to the greater good of my 'Ladies goal'. So A hefty gold I shall pay for those, who get me a sword or a book or a ring found not bare...found not again...only once...and Unique.

So if one stumbles upon an item as such, I..the Hunter..am there. Recommendations ...gold...shall be there for you.

Charlotte Recalls the Battle

Charlotte had heard through the grapevine that there was a man who liked to be known as Hunter, interested in purchasing himself some unique items from the sages and savage beasts that roamed the lands of the Far East.

It just so happened that Charlotte had come across another of those items that she had already owned 4 of. This was something special though. For the first time when fighting a group of monsters she had managed to find the big one - the head monster, the largest, loudest, foulest of the group she had been hunting with her friends all day.

The beast had been wearing some soft of shining armour. She had never seen a beast wear any item of clothing before, let alone what looked like the finest suit of armour she had laid eyes on. The beast sent some of his minions to engage her in the battle, but with her impressive sword skill from many battles, she cleaved them left and right, striding confidently towards the alpha male.

The impressive creature in his armour saw little Charlotte defeating his group of monsters without even a scratch and realise he'd have to get his hands dirty in this one. "How dare she kill his brood? How dare she murder his friends. What had they ever done to her? Well now he'd give those humans something to complain about".

Charlotte was ready for him, as she thrust her sword through the last of the group of monsters she pushed herself forward with all her strength, pushing the dying monster to the floor and rolling away, pulling her sword out as she dodge the blade that had come down and cleaved the monster she had just killed in two.

Getting to her feet she was ready for the onslaught. With a deafening roar, the alpha monster rushed at her, sword aloft. Before he could finish his breath charlotte had stopped moving backwards and charge forward - sword pointing slashing at the knee of the monster as she ran past. Quickly turning, she watched the monster scream and fall sideways to the floor. Taking a knife out of her boot she threw it, pinning the monsters arm to a tree stump, making him drop his sword.

Standing over the monster, she muttered to herself "This one's for you my love" and with the image of the priest she so hated burning in her mind she brought the sword down, straight through the monsters screaming neck.

As she remembered her fight with the monster pack, she recalled how she had watched the monsters life fade away, and with much effort she managed to undo the armour from his massive body. It took her nearly 2 hours to extricate the item from its previous owner. As she turned it over in her hands, she saw the various bumps and holes in the armour straighten themselves, the links in the chains rejoining, and the dents popping back out as the armour shrunk to her size.

Putting on her new armour, she strode into the stronghold of Nocaneb, looking for the man they called Hunter. She had a surprise for him.

Bored and Bald

“Jekil..” said Retnuh, pointing his fingers towards the local barracks “..take the men and disband them as the regions local militia. We are to improve the defenses of this stronghold to an extent, where people might think twice or…thrice when they want to besiege the city”. Then captain bowed to the hero, and dispersed with his new unit towards the barracks.

He picked up Antibald from the ground to his chest with one hand “I like you..even thou you are absolutely unsure of what I am speaking to you and..the very same towards me” smiling with a grin on his face and dragged his sword on the stone pavement with the other hand.

‘bored’ he said to himself ‘bald’ as he lifted his feet to fall down on the other ‘eek’ to initiate a walk ‘..and surrounded by bald people!’.

Fifteen minutes passes, where all illusions of baldness passed… Until a curios sight caught him. A lady, a beautiful one.. and most……interesting to speak upon sight. Eyeing here for a minute, he then found some weird courage to push himself towards here with a slight encouragement from his cat ‘Antibald’.

He rolled his eyes in the sock and stared at his armor for another minute, before deciding a checklist for who and what and why. “Lady… Charlotte”

Antibald

Charlotte had not been wandering for long. She had been in the region of Nocaneb for a while, but had stayed around the outskirts of the city for the most part - reclaiming some "lost" possessions. Her friends had moved on to other regions already but they were still in touch so she knew she would be able to find them soon enough.

She was waiting for a man who wished to buy her new found armour which she had battled hard to get. He had already told her to meet him in the city, so she had left at once to find this man with a booming voice.

As she wandered the streets, her mind trailed back to all her friends and how good it was to be travelling with them rather than alone like she was now. She hoped this guy would turn up soon!

Looking down at her feet she noticed a small cat - furry and friendly. It brushed against her shins, twirling inbetween her feet. Stopping to stroke the cute thing, she wondered if it was a stray - but it looked so well kept and plump that it must be cared for by somebody.

"Where's your owner then you pretty little thing?" she addressed the cat.
