Current News The marriage of Kradus and Isabella 28 November 2006 (Stargard) by Dabug Habap In a beer-soaked and tear-wrenching ceremony (or perhaps tear-soaked and beer-drenching?), Kradus and Isabelle Garner fulfilled a dream. Kradus had wondered aloud: Speakings of marryings, me thought me had crazy dream a month ago where me going to being married by AJ to crazy Isabelle Lady. Was me just very drunk or did me actually sentence meself to that? Elinda, Countess of Upperfell presided over the ceremony, asking: Humhum, Da One would like the two of you goatlings to be together. Meh. Kradus, will you be Issabelle's drinking partner, bedpartner and slaughterpartner forevermore? He drunkenly replied: I Do. Lets drink! At that momemnt, Isabelle wandered by, glancing at Kradus rolling in the mud and wondered how the odd little man ever made it past age five. Isabelle!! Elinda ran up the street, grabbed Isabelle by the hair and dragged her over to the gleefully muddy Kradus. Isabelle, will you be Kradus' mind, drinking partner, bedpartner and slaughterpartner forevermore? Isabelle glanced at Kradus and nodded her head witha slight smile. There was just something about the strange little man that made her look forward to doing his thinking for him for the rest of his life. I do. I guess Someone has to take care of him. Allies Are Here Not Just For War But For Beer As Well! 23rd November 2006 Our allies Abington and Carelia are gathering in Stargard, eagerly awaiting the first attack from Darka. In the mean time the bars and pubs in Stargard are running out of wine. This is something Redspan does not stock up on much, as we prefer the good old keg of ale. Every spare scribe is running around the realm trying to get hold of this wine just to be able to provide it for our allies. Now if they wanted beer that is what we have a lot of. Our industry is used to providing at least a gallon a day of beer for each of the 130,000 little goatlings. The mood is good down here in Redspan as we are all waiting for the fisrt sign of blood. Hey Darka maybe you could come and join us soon. We are dying of boredom! --Article written by Tony Money Galore 23rd November 2006 Acording to the statistics Redspan has the richest nobles on Atamara. With the standard noble earning over 80 gold every week. This is a far better sum than before when we were on just over 30 gold. Well done to the nobles of Redspan for keeping her in good shape and helping to earn all of that gold....I can buy even more beer now! --Article written by Tony War! 17th November 2006 War has been declared by Darka on Redspan. The reason? Playing the game by their own rules. AJ collected a bounty on the head of Mr_Jones. He completed a contract, just like the ones that Darka usually signs. To get paid doing someone else's dirty work. Well, it seems double standards are ripe in Darka. They demanded AJ be banned or 1200 gold be paid in compensation. We said no. We fined AJ 500 gold as another form of punishment. But it is not enough for the war-hungry Merc realm. They say it is a crusade against Redspan. But it is really a Crusade against their own lifestyle. --Article written by Tony Da Goatly Inquisition Started 16th November 2006 That's right folks. Da Goatly Inquisition is now in session. Kradus, its chief prosecuter, will root out heresy in Redspan! Ye all be warned! He hath a portable grill! All those who are true followers of Da One will be relieved when this guy does not come and visit you. If he does... better be able to provide a lot of beer to get this man drunk! --Article written by Tony Magnificent Tournament in Caligan Empire 11th November 2006 This past week, Cagilan Empire threw a grand tournament in Calis. 645 nobles showed up, showed off, and competed. A delegation of fourteen Redspanians attended, though none did exceedingly well compared to the other compeditors. Shani of Abington won the swordfighting contest, and Kido, Marquis of Elroth (Falasan) won the joust. A great time was had by all. --Article written by Dielo All Regions now Have Commanders 9th November 2006 Today marked the last of the wave of appointments in Redspan. With Mathias in Atblane and Elinda in Upperfell all regions are now being looked after and all their beer is being drunk. A good day for Redspan --Article written by Tony Stargard Has A New Duchess 6th November 2006 Today, King Tony has anounced that Roshel, Marshall of the Army of Stargard, will become the next Duchess of Stargard. In a short ceremony at the palace, Tony bestowed the title on the new Duchess. Roshel looked after Upperfell with passion, and now it is time she has moved on. Now two regions left to appoint. Who will get them? --Article written By Tony Sullenport's Duke Back In His Place! 3rd November 2006 After the crowds had disappeared the Redspan Nobles that had accompanied King Tony to Sulleport gathered round for the ceremony that followed. King Tony gave the city to Shamus. He was the first Duke of Sullenport, and now he has returned to his rightful position. After a short celebration, Duke Shamus anounced to the realm that drinks were on him and that we needed to drink Sullenport dry! Here, here to that! --Article written by Tony Sullenport Is Finally Back With Redspan 3rd November 2006 Today, King Malice and King Tony met each other in a bar near the quays of Sullenport. After the traditional drinking session they decided to get down to business. With the crowds already anticipating what was going to happen, they started cheering even before the two monarchs had left the bar. With guards stopping the crowds from rushing forward and disrupting the processes in their happiness, Malice handed over the key to the gates of Sullenport to Tony, who took it with a big smile on his face. This meeting is the last part of the deal that has been arranged with ASI about Redspan's ancestrial homelands. With a great amount of cheering King Malice proposed a duel to King Tony. He challenges Tony to a drinking session and Malice believes he can drink Tony under the table! It must have been a long time since Malice saw a true Redspan noble drink! --Article written by Tony Monsters Crushed In Bolgar! 2nd November 2006 As the sun rose this morning, the Monsters that were in Bolgar awoke to the sight of arrows raining down on them, with swords swiftly following in their wake. Yes, thats right folks. The monsters in Bolgar were easily defeated this morning by Redspan forces and a few ASI troops who were sightseeing. This force has helped the local population sleep easy in thier beds tonight as they do not have to fear the threat these monsters posed to them. Their food is safe and their goats are still none the wiser to anything. --Article written by Tony Byblack Is Back In Redspans Care 1st November 2006 This evening, after a short ceremony in the region of Byblack, Malice, King of ASI handed the region back to Redspan as per the treaty. This is great news for the population of Redspan as good news is hard to come by nowadays.
