Darka's Not The Only One Who Can Loot!

17th May 2007

Aftre a week of hard looting the nobles of Redspan finally encountered some proper resistance. Unfortunatly they were behind us and we had to attack them instead of the other way round. Oh well, it seems my galent troops like fighting away from home, even though they are dissapointed in that the beer is not as good as it is back home, they still fought with valor and bravery. With the lines drawn, it looked as thought the BoM troops had cut off the Redspan forces route home, in Wispen there were 480 troops wearing Redspan uniforms, oppesite them there were 336 tropps belonging to the vikings. Evenly matched the armies were, with the barrony dug in behind the makeshift walls.

The call went out and the Redspan troops in the surrounding regions assembled in Wispen, this pushed thier numbers up to 677 double that of their defending foe. With the forces assembled the Redspan Army matched on, led by King Tony himself, marching at the front of his tired and weiry soldiers. As Dawn approached, and with the sun to their backs, the Redspan troops launched their attack. As the Arrows fell amongst the defenders, the infantry marched in spectacular order towards the lines of fortifications. With the arrows taking their toll, the infantry just feet away and with the thundering sounds of the cavalrys hooves getting louder and louder, the Barrony troops stills tood their gournd.

It was not much of a fight, the Barrony troops just having come from a defeat in Falasan, to find their homes being burnt to the ground by Redspan forces, put a good fight, but the numbers and experience took its toll, the first lines of defence were crushed by the infantry and cavalry, their momentum carried them forwards ont to the forces waiting in reserve. It was an all out rout, and it was over in 2 hours.

The victorius Redspan forces celebrated in the local pubs which ran out of beer. The troops went to find some for them selves.

What a way to end a campaign in the north on such a high note.

CE At War With Abington...No Surprise There!

17th May 2007

A few days ago, a large force of 36000cs of CE and Taleirum forces marched though with out permission from the Redspan govenment, to attack our Federation brother. Unfortunatly for the CE/Tal forces they were stopped in Chasnoff. With out much of a fight, the defending forces of Abington had easily routed the invading army with out to much trouble. The total casulty count was over 2000 dead for CE/Tal and 1250 for Abington. This was a sever blow for Ce as they seem to think themselves invincible. Alas it apears not.

With this act of huge aggression, Abington declared war on CE to make the war formal. At the moment both sides are refiting and returning home. But with a score of 1:0 already Abington have taken the lead, and we hope that they use it well.

Beers On The Barrony!

13th May 2007

Well it had been a long time coming, but RedSpan finally accepted that drink the Barrony had been offering us. With a few friends of mine, we trecked all the way up north and now taking all the drink we find. It is thirsty work walking and riding all the way across the continent.... I don't know how Darka does it.

Barrony Joins The Fight!

8th May 2007

Today, news reports from the Falasan/Eston front lines, indicate a new player in the war. Barrony troops have been seen in Anost, defending the region for their federation allies. When asked Sordanaz, replied

I was planning on defending Eston from any incomming attack but since you now got both Carelia and ASI at your service I am thinking of attacking them as well.

This now makes the war 4:3 in Estons favor, as Tara have lent aid to their allies Eston as well.
