| After discovering the former Royal Arbitrator was captured by rogues and fiends, a new election has begun to replace him. Discussions have become heated quickly after Duke Giask announced his interest in the position. I myself have taken a position in this debate but as I am the only active reporter for the Lurian Weekly, I will do my best to keep from being too bias in this article. | |

| Since before the city of Giask came under the Lurian flag, the Silver Cross has been attempting to take the region of Ciarin Tut. Monsters both in that region itself, as well as abroad in the Duchy of Poryatown, made taking the region difficult. After some time the Cross's forces became significant enough to manage to deal with monsters both abroad and the take over of Ciarin Tut. My sources indicate that the second-in-command of the Silver Cross, William Annuvin will be appointed lord of Ciarin Tut in short order. | |

| Many have likely been wondering how long it would take before Port Nebel, and the rurals of Nebel and Qubel would secede. Today, April 15th, they did. The new realm, calling itself "Shadovar", is the first realm to be created by colonists of Lurian origins, though it's likely not the last. | |

| Though the sentiments of some, including the former Royal Arbitrator, may be against him Duke Ludovico Sforza of Giask has become the third Royal Arbitrator of Pian en Luries. His first change of the laws was to make it so only lords and above held the power to submit law changes. | |
