About the Poryatown Press
February 13th

The Poryatown Press, the first realm-based newspaper is run by Zanaras Tian, and based out of the White City Poryatown (hence the name), capital of Pian en Luries. Though based in Pian en Luries, the Poryatown Press will try to be as unbiased as possible, reporting things only as they are seen. Currently we are working on getting a guild setup so we can better coordinate our reports. In the meantime we are of course looking for journalists and reporters all the time, contact Zanaras Tian of Pian en Luries if you're interested.

New Journalist
February 19

Just joining the ranks of the Poryatown Press is Edith Hashimashidas. She's been brought on as a Journalist so every so often you'll likely see an article written by her on here. She has this to say about herself:

"My name is Edith Hashimashidas; Sister to Tokeru Hashimashidas, Judge of Lasanar, largest realm in the far east; Sister to Edith Hashimashidas, Ruler of Bara'Khur, the last remaining bastion of humanity in the continent of Beluaterra.

"Since my 18th birthday, when my father was brutally killed and the rest of my family brought over to Beluaterra, I was wandering the whole of the continent, traveling from realm to realm, learning about cultures, religions, and styles of fighting.

"I am an incredibly skilled swordswoman, but my loyalties and honor never waiver, not until the death of those I have sworn to, or until I am liberated by the one I swore myself to.

"I am here in the realm of Pian en Luries, in the untamed continent of Dwilight, to establish myself as a hero and noble, and follow the tradition of my family, and eventually found a realm of heroes, heroes to protect the land and protect it's people."

Rebellion in Springdale!
February 18

Details are still sketchy but there seems to have been a rebellion in Springdale in order to oust King Attius Miriel, called by Neel Arya. Rumors currently tell that the rebels appear to be winning. Message from the Judge of Springdale on Page 3 of this issue. After just two days the government of Springdale has been overthrown, and Neel Arya announced the new Ruler.

Reasons for Coming
I like to believe that everyone has a reason for doing as they do, and since Dwilight is such a new land I wondered why they came to this land. On Page 2 I'll be listing the reasons people gave me when I asked them why they came, or why they left the lands they came from.
Armies, Armies, and more Armies
February 16

With the appointment of new lords, a few of them have taken it upon themselves to create a few armies for the realm. More than likely this will continue to where each duchy of the will have atleast one army. Regardless of this there are currently three armies that make up the military force of Pian en Luries: the Golden Host of Porya, the Guardians of Askileon, and the Royal Army. These armies are lead by Caligula Vincent, Ludovico Sforza, and Zanaras Tian respectively.

Pian en Luries Takeovers
Seeing as we are actually have someone from the paper in the realm it is by far easier to report these. If at all possible we'll report who initiated the Takeover, how long, and whatever interesting info we can grab.
