Brian Peveril (Warrior/Hero):

Originally a viking under Dewey, Brian Peveril loved his home realm. He did notice, however, that the Barony of Makar did not do much besides sit around and tell tales of glories long past, or brag of what they would do 'some day'. As such, Brian contented himself chatting with Dewey and listening to the tall tales of another viking named Jens. Eventually, Dewey approached Brian as he had need to depart the Barony of Makar on personal business and turned over the region of Egret's Rock to him, making Brian the Count of the region.

Several months passed peacefully. In time, however, he became outspoken in his beleifs of what it means to be a viking, and he was banished from the Barony. He promptly swore his allegiance to Norland, the other viking realm, and things were fine there for a couple weeks until the government changed to one that was more willing to bend to the Barony's demands. As such, Norland did the Barony a favor out of friendship or fear and banished him as well and returned the region to the Barony.

Brian and those vikings that served under him such as the lady Raine were willing to die for thier beleifs, but were finally forced out of the area through less honorable political means and a duel. Since then, Brian has served Eston faithfully, waiting to pick up the peices when Norland and the Barony inevitably destroy themselves. Of the brothers, he is the most politically outspoken and sees himself as a defender of the viking way of life.

Brandon Peveril (Adventurer/Freeman):

Brandon Peveril is a displaced viking turned adventurer in Dwilight. Due to a series of unfortunate events, Brandon arrived upon the shores of Dwilight alone, as all of his fellow vikings had perished upon the journey due to plague. Being a viking, the distinction between peasant and leader was simply the requirement that you could get a band of men to follow you. In this new realm, Pian en Luries in Dwilight, it seemed much more like the southerners had set things up back home... with nobles and little bits of paper. Without his men to enforce his claim as a comptent leader, Brandon was forced to take up the ways of an adventurer. Being the most intelligent of the brothers, it thankfully wasn't too hard for him to find a way to fit in.

Shortly after arrival he befriended Doctor, and put on a mock duel to amuse some of the nobles and other passersby. He also met a lady named Nina Tai, a beautiful and deadly hunter. A noble approached Brandon about travelling with him overseas to the western portion of the continent, and they were joined by Doctor. Unfortunately, a new realm took control of some of the islands as the group was passing through, splitting the group apart and leaving Brandon with the orders to stay in the west until the noble caught up. He never did.

Back in Pian en Luries, a ban was put upon all adventurers. Brandon lost contact with Nina and Doctor and began to appeal the various higher nobles abotu repealing the ban before it went into full effect - explaining his situation and why he was not in the realm. Eventually, he succeeded and the ban was lifted... however Doctor (who had fled back to Pian en Luries) had seemed to have disappeared. Nina got back in touch, and informed Brandon that she had been imprisoned for a time as well. Not too trusting of the government of Pian en Luries at that point, Brandon encouraged Nina to join him in the west.

The two adventurers found many unique and interesting items in the west and visited many small realms that would be soon to vanish under the hordes of monsters that plagued the area despite their best efforts. Brandon, at many times, did not feel himself... as if compelled in one manner or another by some other being. For a time, visions also clouded his mind until, one day, a noble had his men beat up and rob Brandon of most of his unique items.

Brandon continued onto Nightmarch, being one of the first people to set foot in that hopeless realm known as the Underworld and having been the first to write about it. He met people living in fear, he ran into things sulking in the shadows, and he met a rather unpleasant being which caused him to leave the area quickly and meet back up with Nina, who was elsewhere in the area.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. A census or similar must have been called in Pian en Luries, as Brandon received a stern note instructing him to return to the realm. He did so slowly and settled in for a much less exciting routine back in the realm. For a time, he returned to the Barony of Makar back on Atamara to see what had transpired after his brother's actions. Upon his return to Pian en Luries, he spent the better part of a month repairing items. Once finished, he wandered to the northern portions of the realm and received an unexpected message from Nina who was apparently in the area....

Brigham Peveril (Warrior):

Brigham Peveril was is a bit of an embarressment to the family. Not very bright and seeming to personify the viking stereotype, he was sent to the East Continent to find his fortune. Arriving in Fontan just in time for a civil war, he thought he was in heaven. However, he quickly saw how disorganized Fontan was and left down south to the realm of Itorunt. Once again the realm was horribly disorganized and bored him. He tried his hand half heartedly at being a trader before finally packing up shop and heading to the Sultanate of Asena.

The Sultanate of Asena has worked well for Brigham, giving him plenty to do and, at one point, even allowing him a chance to run rampant in Sirion - looting regions as he went. This was not a planned event admittedly, he had gotten seperated from the rest of the army and had no way back and thus decided to make Sirion fund his next unit. He is currently enjoying the war against Sirion with his second in command Bjorn and Hilda his battle goat. His scribe, Ogden (long ago pressed upon him by the family, particularly Brandon), seems to have taken refuge from the battles at an estate far from the front lines.
